1 . DETERMINE WHICH DIRECTION THE SHAFT MUST BE ADJUSTED.

2. LOOSEN THE (2) 1/2-13 NC LOCKING SCREWS.

3. SUPPORT THE SECOND ARM BELOW THE BEARING ASSEMBLY.

4 . UNLOCK THE TOP NUT SET SCREWS (2).

5. LOOSEN THE NUT 1-2 TURNS.

6. ROTATE THE BEARING ADAPTER(S) AS NECESSARY.

7. TIGHTEN THE NUT-RETURN TO ORIGINAL POSITION IF

PREVIOUSLY DRILLED AND LOCK OR DRILL A NEW HOLE

FOR HALF DOG POINT SET SCREW.

8. REMOVE SECOND ARM SUPPORT.

9. CHECK FOR PROPER ORIENTATION (ROTATION ETC.)

10. READJUST IF NECESSARY.

11. RETIGHTEN LOCKING SCREWS.

ANCHOR BOLT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.) DRILL A HOLE PERPENDICULAR TO THEWORK SURFACE WITH A DIAMETER EQUAL TOTHE ANCHOR DIAMETER. DRILL THE HOLE TOA DEPTH EXCEEDING MINIMUM EMBEDMENT(5.00" FOR 1"-8 ANCHOR). TO ENSURE FULL HOLDING POWER. IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO DRILL FULLY THROUGH THE CONCRETE TO ALLOW THE BOLTS TO BE LATER DRIVEN INTO THE EARTH SHOULD THE MACHINE BE MOVED IN THE FUTURE. DO NOT REAM THE HOLE OR ALLOW THE DRILL TO WOBBLE.

2.) CLEAN THE HOLE USING COMPRESSEDAIR AND A NYLON BRUSH. A CLEAN HOLE IS NECESSARY FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE.

3.) ASSEMBLE A WASHER BETWEEN PEDESTALSCREW JACK AND FLOOR.

4.) ASSEMBLE THE NUT ON THE ANCHOR SO THE NUT RESTS FLUSH TO JUST ABOVE THE TOP OF THEANCHOR. PLACE ANCHOR IN HOLE. STRIKESHARPLY WITH HAMMER TO DRIVE DOWN.FRICTION-FIT ANCHOR DESIGN MAY REQUIREMORE FORCE THAN OTHER ANCHORDESIGNS.

5.) TORQUE ANCHORS TO 250 FT-LBS.

6.) NOTE: THE DEEPER THE HOLE IS DRILLED, THEGREATER THE PULL OUT FORCE BECOMES.ANCHOR EMBEDMENT DEPTH NOT TO EXCEED1 1/2 TIMES THE ANCHOR BOLT DIAMETER FROMTHE OPPOSING FACE OF CONCRETE SLAB.
