1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 HISTORY

Akash had its genesis in 1990 when Mr. Pratap Singh, launched a small company, Akash Pack Tech Pvt. Ltd. in Haryana to manufacture and supply packaging machines. There was no looking back after that. Under the commendable guidance of the dedicated CEO Akash gained enormous market credibility. The Surging Success within a short span distinguishes Akash from everyone. Since its inception only, Akash Pack Tech has been keeping stringent control and focus on the design, development procurement, manufacturing, testing, installation and product support as per international standards and norms. Be “in recognition of the quality standards maintained by us the company was granted the ISO 9001:2008 certification very soon.

1.2 WHAT THE COMPANY DOES

The group, along with packaging machines, also manufactures and supplies components of packaging machines. Over the years it has grown strong enough to diversify and enter into various areas of Agro Machinery, Material handling and construction Equipment Industries as well. Akash has appreciable presence in the Food manufacturing Industry wherein it is the leading manufacturer and supplier of instant noodles for HUL. Akash has very recently entered into the business of ”Gas Filling stations”.

The company has gained tremendous recognition in the Indian market. It has even extended its business activities in the overseas. The consistent efforts of Akash group towards indigenous manufacture of packaging machines have often been rewarded by the overwhelming Appreciation from its clients.

Today the Group is recognized as a significant player in the Packaging Machine Industry.

AKASH PACKAGING-manufactures and supplies parts of packaging machines M/s Akash Filling Station- established in April 2008 to run HP petrol pump.
