About The Shipyard

Founded in 2007 in Iskenderun Gulf by Mr. Metin Akbaşoğlu who has ship holding and owns young tanker fleet .

Akdeniz Shipyard is one of the youngest and largest shipyard in east Mediterranean Sea.

Currently Akdeniz Shipyard is located over an area of 120.000 m2 with a potential to reach 210.000 m2 upon

investment.

Akdeniz Shipyard is the only shipyard located in Free Zone area in south of Turkey which has activities in both new

building , repair & maintenance and Industrial Plants 3

The scope of repair, renewal, maintenance and overhaul services provided during docking and repair period are listed as

AKDENIZ SHIPYARD is pleased to announce that, Travel Lift MBH 820 manufactured by the Italian

company CIMOLAI Technology has been delivered to the shipyard in Adana, Turkey. With its lifting capacity

of 820 tons, Akdeniz Shipyard’s latest invesment makes it the biggest Travel Lift in Turkey! With this

investment, Akdeniz Shipyard aims to become a key player in the Repair & Maintenance market in the

Mediterranean, in addition to new building market.

About Travel Lift

With the travel lift, Akdeniz Shipyard will offer services such as : Launching & Docking and Covered

Storage for Yachts and Boats.

These operations can be performed on;

Mega Yachts, Tug Boats, Barges, Fishing Vessels, Research Vessels, Navy/Military Vessels

And any other vessel which are not exceeding the dimensions listed below:

Up to 820 tons

LOA: Up to 70m
