Einen Leisten herzustellen ist ein langer, sorgfltiger Prozess, in den AKU die lange Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Erzeugung von hochwertigen Schuhen einbringt. Den optimalen Leisten fr die Fuform zu finden, gehrt zu den wesentlichen Kriterium fr die Wahl der richtigen Schuhe. Der originale Leisten von AKU ist die Vorlage, die aus dem Studium der Anatomie von Fusohlen entstanden ist. Daraus werden durch verschiedene Anpassungen die unterschiedlichen Typologien von Leisten und Passformen abgeleitet, die je nach Modell und speziellem Einsatzbereich variieren.

Creating a last is a lengthy and meticulous process in which all of AKUs long experience in the design and production of high quality footwear converges. Identifying a last that corresponds perfectly to the morphology of the foot is one of the fundamental criteria in choosing the right fit. The primary AKU last is the basis of everything, the result of constant research into the anatomy of the sole of the foot. It is from this basic form, suitably adapted, that the different types of last and fit are derived; the type of last varies according to the different models and specific use requirements of each product.

AIR 8000 und AIR INFINITY sind zwei einzigartige, exklusiv von AKU angewandte Technologien, die fr ein atmungsaktives Obermaterial und optimalen Klimakomfort sorgen. Beide Systeme arbeiten auf der Konstruktionstechnik des Obermaterials.

AIR 8000 and AIR INFINITY are the two unique technological solutions uti-lized by AKU for engineering a breathable upper with the correct thermalbalance. Both systems work on the manufacturing technique and assem-bly of the layers used in constructing the upper.

Die Konstruktionstechnik des Obermaterials AIR INFINITY ist hingegen eine neue Errungenschaft von AKU auf der Suche nach Atemaktivitt. In diesem Fall setzt sich das Obermaterial aus folgenden Schichten zusammen: einer Mikrofasergrundstruktur 30 % leichter und atmungsaktiver als Leder und durch eine Mikrolochung noch leichter und atmungsaktiver einem laufmaschensicheren Gewebe mit dreidimensionaler Webstruktur, die noch mehr Leichtigkeit und Transpiration bietet. Diese beiden Schichten werden punktkaschiert, was durch weitreichende freie Belftungsbereiche noch mehr Leichtigkeit und Atmungsaktivitt gewhrleistet.

With the AIR INFINITY upper, AKUs research on breathability is clearly shown in the cutting-edge constructional technique. In this case the upper is made using a layered system consisting of: a base in microfiber, a material that is already 30% lighter and more breathable than leather but has been worked, using a perforation process, to make it even more lightweight and more breathable; and a non-run 3-D woven fabric that enhances the features of lightness and breathability. These 2 layers are joined together with a spot bonding process that guarantees light weight and breathability because large areas for ventilation are left free.

This is the first technology for upper construction which AKU de-veloped and patented as early as 1991 to increase the breathabi-lity of mountain footwear. Laboratory tests confirm that an upper made with the exclusive AKU AIR 8000 system offers up to 11.5 times greater breathability than normal standards identified by GORE-TEX. Twenty years down the line, the AKU AIR 8000 system is still one of the most cutting-edge technologies which delivers outstan-ding breathability in mountain boots.

EXOSKELETON ist eine neue Lsung, die von AKU bei einigen Hightech-Modellen eingesetzt wird. Eine neue Architektur zielt darauf ab, Schutz und Stabilitt nur da zu bieten, wo sie bentigt wird, ohne die Leichtheit zu beeintrchtigen.

EXOSKELETON is a new solution which AKU has applied to a number of its hi-tech models. A new architecture made of polyurethane, conceived to guarantee protection and stability only where it is needed, without compromising the light weight.

AKU benutzt auch bei angespritzten Schuhen in allen Bearbeitungsphasen, auch beim Schnren, Montieren, Abkhlen und Finish, eine spezielle entfernbare Form. Es handelt sich dabei jedoch um die zwei kritischsten Phasen, denn gerade nach dem Anspritzen und Abkhlen nimmt der Sohlenpolyurethan seine Form an, die aufgrund der natrlichen Schrumpftendenz des Polyurethans verloren gehen wrde, wenn sich im Schuhinnern nicht die herausnehmbare Form befinden wrde.

AKU uses a special removable last for injected footwear throughout the production process, including the lacing and assembly right through to the most critical stages of cooling and finishing. It is in the actual cooling stage, after injection, that the polyurethane sole memorizes its shape which would be lost if the last were removed from the footwear, due to the natural tendency of the polyurethane to shrink.

The Internal Midsole System is an exclusive technology used in the construction of the AKU insole board. It couples the traditional support structure in nylon to a layer of microporous material.This system, which allows for the sole to perfectly capture the anatomy of the foot, ensures a uniform distribution of pressure, prevents from lateral and frontal slipping under heavy use, and provides shock absorption for an excellent wearing comfort.

The Internal Midsole System is coupled with an Exoskeleton construction and a further internal component made of Molded EVA. The external structure of lightweight polyurethane, a resistant, solid and durable material, provides protection and support at the key points of the foot to ensure a safer step. FUNCTIONALITY AND SAFETYStiftung Warentest is a German foundation established in1964 by decision of the German Parliament with the aim of providing ad-vice on products to end users by means of comparative testing. A test conducted in July 2013 on 15 of the most important brands on the German market resulted in TREKKER LITE II GTX being rec-ognised as the best product in the trekking footwear category. The result of the laboratory test for any toxic substances in the main product components was particularly reassuring. TREKKER LITE II GTX proved to be the safest footwear with regard to this parameter, obtaining a coefficient of 2,1 (very good).

Die Schuljahre, die Erwartungen der Eltern und die sozialen Verpflichtungen werden Ihren ursprnglichen Geist langsam zerstren und Sie werden sich, ohne es zu merken, dem Verhalten der anderen anpassen.Das sagt Erling Kagge, der weltberhmte Polarforscher und der erste Mensch, der, im Jahre 1993, zu Fu den Sdpol erreicht hat. Seine Theorie ist, dass es in unserer Welt derart viele und gute sinnvolle Grnde gibt, das Kind in uns zu vergessen und zu banalen Leuten zu werden, die begrenzte Ambitionen wie einen mglichst hohen Konsum und den Beitrag zum Bruttoin-landsprodukt besitzen. Auf diese Weise vergessen wir letztlich, wie glcklich wir als Kinder waren, als wir ohne Regeln spielten und dachten, dass alles mglich wre. Die Natur und das Leben im Freien zhlen zu den lohnendsten Erfahrungen, die man machen kann. Die Natur wirkt wohltuend auf unseren Seelenzustand und auf die Vision unserer Prioritten.Es gibt unendlich viele Mglichkeiten, das Outdoor zu erkun-den. Auf den Seiten dieser Zeitschrift finden Sie einige Ideen, um das erster vieler Abenteuer zu unternehmen. Aber die ein-zige Regel lautet: das Abenteuer knnen Sie berall, an jedem Ort, zu jeder Zeit finden. Allerdings kann sich die Natur fr denjenigen, der nicht vorbereitet ist, als feindselig erweisen und man bentigt die richtige Ausrstung. Grundanforderungen an jede Outdoor-Ausrstung sind die Zweckdienlichkeit und die Verlsslichkeit. Wenn das nicht der Fall sein sollte, htten die Produkte aller Outdoor-Firmen ein kurzes Leben. Viele Outdoor-Firmen, wie AKU, teilen mit ihren Kunden eine groe Verantwortung: die Ver-teidigung der Natur und der Ressourcen, die unerlsslich sind, um die Ausrstungen zu fertigen, denen man sich anvertraut.
