Maximizing & promoting health services is our strategy for decreasing complicated deliver y

And assuring a safe motherhood , such as : frequent check-ups and labor analysis for detecting

Anemia (iron & Vitamin A deficiencies).

IRD PROJECT / GIVING SOCIAL JUSTICE TO RAFAH / APRIL JULY 2010 -

THE PUBLIC HEALTH CAMPAIGNS PROGRAM, in breastfeeding strategies, detection of earlier breast

cancer, healthy nutrition is tar geting 08 deprived areas in Rafah.

The objective of this program is to strengthening the health care system in Rafah and protecting

women & children fr om dangerous diseases.

It aims to give life skills to women and changing their attitudes in adopting healthy practices in

breastfeeding strategies and varied diet with iron rich foods

This program is conducted by 26 fresh graduates , among health workers, social workers. & nurses

recruited directly from the vulnerable areas, from the most disadvantaged areas & increasing the income

of their families over than 6 members , and helping them to provide the ones family

THE PSYCHO-SOCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAM is targeting women from overcrowding areas among

families with more than 6 children. It aims to give women counseling for better managing family

conflicts and linking problems to solutions. Mothers are generally over-charged with children and

home duties. The common problems are the hard economic situation , and the ones provide

families.

It aims to motivate the areas of field work to facilitate community access , and to help families with
