The IMENCO Guide post Extension makes it possible to tempora-rily increase the height of the guide posts, thus providing neces-sary guiding length for BOP, XMT and other tool running opera-tions.
The height of subsea templates and satellite structures should be kept as low as pos-sible, hence the permanent length of the guide posts should be as short as possible.
FEATURES OF THE IMENCO RELEASABLE GUIDE POST EXTENSION: • Features standard anchor receptacle on top.
• Can be run with the IMENCO guidewire anchor and installed in same run as the guideline.
• Release on top for easy ROV access.
• Allows individual retrieval of the guidewire anchor only.
• Optional shearpin release functions.
• Utilizes the special profiled post top developed as ”North Sea” standard for post extensions.
• Widely used in the North Sea.
