Alan Rollins has had a successful career as a Hairstylist and Freelance Educator/Artistic Director, representing several major haircare manufacturers for over 25 years. His continued passion for the creative arts led him to begin studies at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA in 2012. Alan quickly discovered his passion for graphic design and tailored his education to begin a new career. Completing nearly every course offered in the Applied Art and Design department and others in Art and Photography as well as Advertising, has earned him a Certificate of Achievement with a Graphic Design concentration, a Certificate of Achievement with an Illustration concentration and yet another with a multimedia concentration. In addition, Alan received Skills Certificates in Visual Arts and Media, Digital Illustration, Video Production and Editing, Web Design, and Graphic Design. Alan has exhibited his talents in an art installation at Sierra College Dietrich Theater which led to the Theater Department approaching him to create visual graphics and video clips to be projected as part of their upcoming production.Alan is currently developing materials to be used by hair salons to support their branding/marketing needs, and is steadily growing his freelance graphic design business.
