DENALI NATIONAL PARKToday you will travel to the Alaska Railroad depot. Here

we will board the domed rail cars in GoldStar service for a beautiful journey to Denali National Park. FINAL PAYMENTSFinal payment must reach Landmark Tours 90 days prior to tour departure date. If payment is not received on time, space may be released; re-booking will be subject to availability.

TOUR DOCUMENTSTour documents, including detailed itinerary, hotel lists, luggage tags, jackets and passenger lists will be mailed approximately 14-21 days prior to departure. This may be delayed if final payment is not received on time.

ITINERARY REVISIONSJohn Hall’s Alaska reserves the right to revise the services included in the itinerary such as hotel accommodations and attractions. In cases of substitution, a comparable quality service will be used. Triple rooms, when available, may contain either two beds and a roll-away, or two double beds.

SEAT ROTATION & SMOKINGIn consideration of all tour members, seat rotation will be practiced daily and a no-smoking policy will be enforced on the motorcoach. Frequent stops will be made every two to three hours to accommodate travelers. A bathroom is available on board the motorcoach as well.

CELL PHONESCell phone coverage is available in most Alaska cities. As a courtesy to other passengers, please refrain from cell phone usage while on board the motorcoach. Your cruise ship’s cell phone tower charges by the minute. We recommend limiting your cell phone use to the times when you are in port. FOREIGN TRAVEL & PASSPORTSWhen departing the U.S. for Canada, proof of citizenship is mandatory and must be carried with you. All travel will require citizenship proof in the form of a current valid passport or passport card. Note: Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. No other forms will be accepted. We recommend that you apply for your passport as soon as possible, as the waiting period may be up to 2 months. Your passport should be valid for 6 months beyond the travel return date.

LUGGAGE HANDLINGWe suggest that you take two suitcases per person on your CruiseTour; one for your better dress cloth-ing on the cruise portion, and the other for clothing on the land portion of your tour. The suitcase for the cruise portion will be stored on the motorcoach until you reach your ship but will remain with your motorcoach as you travel through Alaska’s interior. We will deliver and pick up one suitcase per person from your room throughout the entire land portion of your tour. Both suitcases will be delivered to your stateroom on the cruise ship.

EXTENDED STAYS IN ALASKA OR VANCOUVERShould you wish to spend some free time in Vancouver or Anchorage, we would be happy to help you make these arrangements. Some additional fees may be applicable.

SINGLE TRAVELERSCruises: A limited number of two berth cabins are available on each ship for single occupancy. Supple-ments are listed with the cruise fares.Tours: As a service to our single travelers, we will assist in arranging a roommate. Please note that it cannot be guaranteed.

SPECIAL NEEDSIn order for us to provide the best service possible, please inform our staff of any mobility or medical issues as soon as possible.

LAUNDRYDry cleaning, pressing and shoe-shine services are available on board Celebrity Cruise Line ships. Washers and dryers for your personal use are available on land.

EMBARKATIONSouthbound from Seward, AlaskaCelebrity will begin their embarkation at 1 p.m. Passengers are requested to be on board at least 90 minutes prior to sailing time. The ship will set sail at 8 p.m.

CASHLESS SOCIETYA “no cash” policy is used on board all Celebrity Cruise Line cruise ships. You will be asked to sign for all purchases and services provided. At the end of your cruise, you will receive an itemized bill which you may settle with the purser’s office. You may use cash, traveler’s checks or credit cards. Register your credit card during online check in or on embarkation day as part of the embarkation process.

CLOTHINGYour land tour is 100% casual. Sweaters, lightweight jackets, jeans, slacks and sport shirts are fine for day wear. Comfortable walking shoes are a must (closed-toed shoes for ladies). You may wish to bring along an umbrella, a light raincoat and rain hat. Consider bringing a pair of gloves, a scarf or a hat for days spent in the outdoors. Many guests enjoy having a small pair of binoculars along during their tour.

On board Celebrity Cruise Line, each evening the program for the following day will be delivered to your room, announcing that evening’s suggested dress. Please note that participation in the evening program is optional, but guests wishing to eat in the Metropolitan dining room must adhere to the dress code policy.

Casual (4 nights): Sport shirts and slacks for men; sundresses or pants for women. Smart Casual (1 night): Jackets and ties for men; dresses and pant suits for women. Formal (2 nights): Suits and ties for men; cocktail dresses for women.

DINING ROOM SEATINGTables for the first seating of dinner have been reserved at 6:00pm each night on board the Celebrity Millennium. Breakfast and lunch times may vary depending on port times and activities. Salt-free, kosher, food allergies or any other special dietary meals must be requested at the time of booking. Please reconfirm when you board the ship. Celebrity Cruise Line offers a special menu for children if preferred.

CASUAL DINING OPTIONSCelebrity offers casual dining options throughout the day for your convenience. In addition, complimentary room service is available during most of the day. Should you wish to eat dinner and avoid dressing up, the ships’ casual options would be the way to go.

CAMERAS AND VALUABLESBy all means bring a camera, and be sure it is within your reach. You’ll see plenty of great scenes to snap, both on and off the ship. Keep your camera and other valuables in your carry on (there are a limited number of safe-deposit boxes free for the asking once on board). We will burn your pictures to DVD as a complimentary service while you are on tour with John Hall’s Alaska.

SHORE EXCURSIONSJohn Hall’s Alaska staff members are shore excursion experts and would be happy to suggest the most valuable activities for the money while cruising Southeast Alaska. You may call our office and we will book your shore excursions or you may go directly to your cruise line’s web site to book them.

TIPPING/GRATUITIESAll gratuities have been included in the price of your package with the exception of your John Hall’s Alaska Cruise and Tour Managers. This includes the traditional $11.00 per guest per day for dining and stateroom services on Celebrity Cruise Line, as well as all meals, activity guides and luggage handling gratuities. Customary tips for your John Hall’s Alaska Tour Manager and Cruise Manager should be on a voluntary and individual basis.

Cruise Ship: Your John Hall’s Alaska Cruise Manager will assist you with shore excursions, dining ar-rangements, ship tours and ship disembarkation while providing walking tours and insights into each port of call.

Motorcoach: Your John Hall’s Alaska Tour Manager will take care of all included features of the tour, such as tour narration, baggage handling and meal planning.

ExclusionsLandmark Tours reserves the right to alter its Refund and Cancellation Policy when a significant amount of cancellation or interruption of travel are due to conditions caused by an act of God, civil disorder, government action, outbreak of disease man made or natural disasters, fire, war, unavailability of services or transportation through no fault of Landmark Tours.
