ALBANY COUNTRY CLUB

GOLF Our 18-Hole championship golf course is

designed to challenge the experienced golfer, yet welcome the novice or less skilled. Designed and built by Robert Trent Jones, the dean of American golf course architects, the course provides a fair and demanding test of golf from tee to green. A golf pro shop is on site, where you can choose from a variety of equipment options, as well as specially selected clothing and accessories.

DINING: We offer one of the finest dining

experiences in the Capital Region. Members and guests enjoy relaxed, yet elegant dining while taking in beautiful views. The Grille Room is our exclusive member dining room where members can have a private dinner with family or socialize with other members. Menus are designed by our award-winning staff and will accommodate any special requests. Members enjoy lunch and dinner services with NO food & beverage minimums.

CLUB EVENTS: Albany Country Club

frequently hosts club events full of fun and

camaraderie! Our members enjoy Lobster Nights,

Gourmet Burgers & Craft Beer Nights, Tacos &

Tequila nights, Easter Brunch, Spring Kick-Offs,

Parent’s Night Out, Mother’s Day Brunch,

Independence Day Celebration with fireworks,

Harvest Festival, Santa Brunch, Gingerbread House

Party, Family First Night and New Year’s Eve Dining.

BANQUETS: We regularly host meetings,

luncheons, private social events, member functions,

fundraisers, weddings and much more. Several rooms

are available that can suit any of your needs. We will

prepare superb cuisine to suit your group and event.

expectations. With our planning expertise and attention

to detail, let our expert staff make your event perfect

with breathtaking views and incomparable food.

AQUATICS: The swimming pool

facilities include the large main pool, with areas for lap swimming and diving, the “kiddie” pool, the Pool House with complete locker changing and restroom facilities, the pool snack bar featuring a complete menu of your favorite foods and beverages, and the children’s playground.

Social Clubs and Activities: The Albany Country Club

offers its members opportunities to get together with other members for group activities, such as Men’s and Women’s Book Clubs, Mah Jongg, Duplicate Bridge, Mixed Bowling, Ladies Bowling League and Paddle Tennis.

Golf Leagues: Albany Country Club offers golfing members

fun and camaraderie with several friendly and competitive golf leagues.

TENNIS: The tennis facilities of the

Albany Country Club are comprised of five

outdoor, Har-tru clay surface courts, two of

which are lighted for night play, a pro shop,

office, restrooms and a covered porch

where you can watch all the action. Two

paddle tennis courts are available for use

during the cooler months. Our experienced

professionals offer group lessons and clinics

for both juniors and adults.

initiation fees will be waived

Once your application is approved by the Board of Governors, you can begin enjoying our beautiful country club immediately. With just an application fee, your initiation fee will be waived

(Application fees: $500 for golfing members, $250 non-golfing members) (plus tax)

Albany Country Club is pleased to be the most

family friendly country club in the Capital District

Junior Golf, Junior Tennis, “Piranhas” Swim Team, Summer Day Camp and many family friendly activities such as pool parties, Independence day celebration with fireworks, fall festivals, Santa brunch, gingerbread house party and family first night.
