Albums and single covers

Fightstar

This is Fightstars first album. The cover is very abstract and suggests a feeling of alienation. The colours are very plain and straight forward, like black and white suggest . There seem to be a suggestion of poison in the picture because of the gas mask.

They liked you were better when you dead

The image seen before us seems to represent the end of the world and a holy theme. The white colours etcetera, basking in the light.

Alternate EndingsLike the last two albums there is an apocalyptic theme. It seems like the end of the world, desolation and destruction are rife. Like the last two albums there is a picture of beauty surrounded by light.

One day son, this will al the yours

Again this cover shows an apocalyptic theme, also futuristic. The man seems to half human half machine. The tie represent s his humanity and the robot the vast speed that technology consumes are day to day life. This could image could show that soon people will become obsolete

Be Human

The album cover is very abstract in appearance. The title be human is ironic as we see a humans body with a beast head.

Farewll to the fair ground

The single cover is very simplistic and reminiscent of the 1950,s. This may represent there image as well, they are very straight forward.

To lose my life

This is the first album by white lies, the silver tinge makes the album very aesthetically pleasing to look at. The three towers may represent the band members themselves. Standing tall and shining bright even in the gloomy background. Their rise to stardom.

Beilive

The album shows an altered Jewish star of David . This symbol could show the religious connotations of the band and album.

Page 13: Album covers

Ten thousand fists

The cover shows a theme of liberation, and empowerment. The masked figure leads these people though is ironically chained around the neck. This could show defying imprisonment

Page 14: Album covers

indestructable

The figure is engulfed in flames yet is immune to their power. This represents literally the point of being indestructible

The sickness

The picture of the men's face in a straight jacket shows insanity, or if you like “sickness”.
