Use in daily practice

• The implementation of fogging disin-fection with OxyProtection (= Oxytech Generator + Oxytech D50/500) neither requires a training as disinfector nor a fumigation licence according to TRGS 522nd.

• Any openings in the room free of peop-le are sealed off from the outside with tape.

• The disinfection system is positioned in a cor-ner about 1 meter from the walls, depending on room conditions.

• The nozzle of the generator shows in diagonal di-rection of the space.

• After placement of the system and calculation of the space volume, the disinfection process can be star-ted,(withalargerproportionofglassm3andasignifi-cant contamination, higher values need to be set).

• The user has to leave the room 30 seconds after switching the device on.

• The fully automatic decontamination is completed after 90 minutes without remaining residues, and the occupational exposure limit and the H2O2 concentration in the air is in „green“ range (<1.0 ppm).

1. Equipment and room preparationInthefirstphaseoftheprocessthedecontaminatingareaispreparedbyremovingnon-compliant fogging items (for example, plants, oxidizing materials, etc.) from the room. The generator is placed in accordance to the instructions.

2. Fumigation / cold foggingBy nebulization of Oxytech Aerosol area-disinfectants, Hydrogen peroxide is converted intoagasphase,andthroughthejetssystembyveryfineaerosolsevenlydistributedin room.

3. Impact timeThe impact time of the disinfection process begins as soon as the appropriate concen-tration of H2O2 is reached. With setting of 270 m3 the impact time starts after about 15 minutes, that means, directly after the process time (nebulization) or saturation of the space. Parallel to the impact time, the degradation of Hydrogen peroxide occurs in the ambient air (see chart).

4. Degradation / ventilationAfter expiration of the impact time, H2O2 degrades into water and oxygen. By atomi-zation of Oxytech Aerosol in higher concentrations (>5%) the degradation process can be accelerated by complementary measures (eg by switching on the ventilation, or opening of windows and doors)
