I am a practiced Designer, Manager, Leader and Teacher. My professional efforts have spanned projects both large and small, from simple residential remodels to a half million square feet of office, retail and entertainment centers. I have worked for international architectural firms where innovative design and accurate, complete project documentation was required. My responsibilities have included overall project direction from planning and design through entitlements including construction documents, construction administration, team coordination and client

relations. Additional responsibilities included preparing and presenting council briefings, developing proposals, and coordinating with jurisdictions, project consultants, client’s staff, business development and recruitment. I have built-work in California, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Wisconsin, Alabama and Istanbul, Turkey.

I originally started my career in Baltimore, at Design Collective, Inc. I was fortunate enough to be a team designer on large commercial, entertainment, educational, hospitality and urban planning projects. After several years, I moved to Southern California, where I perfected my residential work as a Partner in Christopher and Kacur Architects, Inc. (C+K Architects). In July of 2010, I moved back to Maryland and joined Torti Gallas and Partners. While at TGP I've had the opportunity to expand my base into affordable housing, international development and urban planning.

I am a firm believer in technology and I have used 3D and BIM parametric modeling in all of my projects throughout my career. My skill set is varied; I am a designer, a manager and I have the ability to master any computer program.

PROFILEAs a former Partner in Christopher and Kacur Architect, Inc. I developed a keen understanding of the fiscal demands put upon an architectural firm. I have instituted drawing production standards, project accountability procedures and employee management protocols. My role as Senior Designer and Project Manager has allowed me to take all of my projects from conception to completion.

Where my corporate experiences taught me to be an effective team player, my partnership taught me to work with individual owners, developers and community groups. These interactions sharpened my abilities as a public speaker, negotiator and manager.
