Inspiration
Alex Webb was inspired in photography in high school. He went to a Apeiron Workshops where he met photographers who were associated with Magnum Photos which is where he now works.

The artist is trying to show how bad the political unrest was in Haiti at the time of their dictator and how it affected a lot of people.

Judgement
I think that the photograph is very strong and he got his point, that the social unrest in Haiti was bad, across. The rule of foreground and background really helps bring together the photo because the photo isnt focused on the subject but rather on the destruction he is bringing. That is what makes the photograph powerful.
