Responsible for the recruiting process for future Atlantic Interns which included posting available internship roles, screening candidates, and sending candidates’ information to the hiring managers. Planned and organized internship events such as guest speakers, meetings, as well as intern orientation. Served as a resource throughout the semester long project by providing interns with necessary information in regards to meetings and by organizing final presentations. Assisted in the preparation of onboarding documents for future interns by sending out contracts and background checks and to ensure all paperwork was properly completed before start date. Attended various staff meeting trainings in regards to the implementation of the Workday system to Atlantic Records employees. Completed weekly research assignments in various areas of Human Resources including Family Medical and Leave Act, Short Term Leave and Long Term Leave, Cobra, diversity in the workplace and a Sexual Harassment case study, later presented to the Human Resources team. Eataly- New York, New York August 2015- December 2015 Human Resources & Recruiting Intern Assisted the Human Resources Team in the execution of Eataly’s employee relations services including, but not limited to: employee onboarding, payroll, training, benefits, verifications and terminations. Worked with the Payroll department to complete new hire data entry, administrative payroll and communication with managers and employees. Conducted interviews with candidates and forwarded obtained information to hiring managers. Completed and assisted the onboarding process with new employees including new hire paperwork, I9 and W4 forms. Attended career fairs and nonprofit agencies to interview individuals for various open roles at Eataly. Rutgers Alumni Relations- New Brunswick, New Jersey September 2012 May 2014 Intern Communicated with employees and Rutgers Alumni to plan events such as Homecoming and Reunions at Rutgers University, as well as conducted research for vendors for Alumni events around the New Brunswick area. Utilized Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher to create spreadsheets, maps, and keep documents organized that were sent to Rutgers Alumni members. Worked onsite at various Alumni events including Rutgers Alumni Weekend and Homecoming Celebration by checking in guests and fulfilling any needs as per request by the Rutgers Alumni Relations Staff.
