A book of the Bible states, “Though Shalt not

suffer a witch to live”. For about 400 years, many innocent people

were accused of doing black magic aka, witchcraft.

Puritans left to find new land in the Seventeenth Century. In 1692, the land which they had found was called Salem. Salem was divided into two areas. The Salem town, and the Salem village.

The Salem town had political and religious freedom over the other village.

The village people, were very scared that god would punish them for their act of violence. In return of that the villagers made very strict rules about their people.

The Puritans had a great fear of witches. The only book they followed was the Bible.

In Salem, girls mostly baked bread, turned butter or sewed clothes or tend to younger children.

Unusual events started happening in 1692. One by one girls within the village began to fall into fits of screaming or crying, rolling around uncontrollably.

They claimed they talked to the devil or spirits.

The one’s who refused to do chores and other activities were rumored as a witch.

The only most likely way you could get out of it, was getting pregnant quick.

I believe that the Salem witch trials were all fake.

All the girls were just joking around then it got a little too out of hand so they just kept continuing, which led to people dyeing because they were accused of speaking with the devil. If the people didn’t start rolling into fits falling to the floor in my opinion none of this would have happened.

If I was accused of being a witch. I’d get pregnant fast. Its actually not a stupid idea, because most other options are crazy. If you plead non-guilty they think your guilty. If you plead guilty your guilty.
