  • Algamod LW je dilataciona spojnica modu-larnog tipa, izraena od specijalnih elinih profila sa zaptivnim gumenim elementimaizmedu, tako da obezbeduju apsolutnuvodonepropusnost.Mogunost primene promenljivog broja elemenata daje funkciju modularnosti.U ovom katalogu ALGA prikazuje reenja za 12 gumenih zaptivnih elemenata.ALGA projektuje, proizvodi i montira modularne spojnice jo od 1970. godine.

    Na poetku se proizvodila RUB dilataciona spijnica (Rheinstahl Union Bruckenbau ) , sve do 1975, zatim TENSA LASTIC spojnicaproizvedena po licenci firme Proceq do 1978.godine.Nakon toga, na prelazu 2000. godine, insta-lirane su Rheinstahl 3W dilatacione spojniceizraene po licenci MAN-GHH sa njihovimtipinim sistemom sa pantografskim centriranjem.Ovo dvadesetpetogodinje iskustvo omoguava ALGI da projektuje takav tip

    ranije tehnologije i istovremeno uvodecinove i podobnije sisteme.

    In this catalogue ALGA presents solutions till12 rubber seal elements.ALGA have designed, manufactured andinstalled modular expansion joints since1970.As first was produced the RUB joint(Rheinstahl Union Bruckenbau), out ofproduction on 1975, then it was the time ofTENSA LASTIC joint, produced underProceq's license till 1978.Subsequently, almost at the turn of year2000, modular joints Rheinstahl 3W havebeen installed, manufactured under MAN-GHH's license, with their typical pantographcentering system.This 25-years-old experience allowed ALGAto design a type of joint, which has theheritage of previous technology butintroduces new and more suitable centeringand support systems.

    Algamod LW is an expansion joint made upof special steel profiles with in betweenrubber seal elements installed in such a wayto make it absolutely waterproofing.The possibility to implement a variablenumber of elements gives it the feature of

  • Sistemi poduhvatanja

    Algamod LW predvia upotrebu dva

    razliita sistema poduhvatanja.

    Za dilatacije sa pomeranjem do 400mm

    svaki elini profil je spojen sa jednom

    podupiruom gredom; dok preko pet zaptivki,

    standardni sistem predvia sistem sa vie

    podupiruih greda. U prvom sluaju, uticaji

    saobraajnog optereenja na eline profile

    se distribuiraju preko podupiruih amorti-

    zujuih leita i opruga. Opruga posta-

    vljena iznad podupirueg nosaa obezbeuje

    kontakt, spreava odizanje i umanjuje

    buku.

    Sistem doputa pomeranja izazvana

    temperaturom i rotacijom konstrukcije.

    U drugom sluaju, elini profili se dre

    kroz jednostruke podupirue nosae

    preko kojih oni mogu da klizaju uz

    Support systemsAlgamod LW foresees the use of two

    different support systems.

    For the expansion joints with movement till

    400 mm every steel profile is linked to one

    support beam; besides the five seals the

    standard system foresees a multi support

    beam system.

    In the first case, the traffic impact loads on

    the steel profiles are distributed through the

    support beams to the structure by special

    damping bearings and springs.

    The spring positioned above the support

    beam grants the contact, prevents the

    lifting and decreases the noise.

    That system allow the thermal movements

    and rotations of the structure.

    In the second case, the steel profiles are

    held through single support beams on

    which they can slide using a bearing/spring

    combination similar to the previous one.

    That system allows the thermal movements

    and rotations of the structure.

    The support beams are connected to the

    support boxes in the same way in both

    systems.

    The bearing system grants a better

    distribution of traffic loads and the

    damping of dynamic heavy loads for each

    single steel profile.

    Both systems are equipped with suitable

    centering system.

    Centering SystemThe centering springs are made up ofpolyurethane foam buffers suitable toabsorb large deformations.They co-operate, together with the rubberseals, to create a dynamic system able tostand the braking and acceleration forcesand, first of all, to keep the steel profiles atequal distance.Main condition this one to make the sealsnot moving out from the steel profiles,compromising the joint waterproofing.The system buffers aremounted on nylon pins working always incompression through flanges welded to thesupport beams or directly to the steelprofiles.In that way when the joint is opening thebuffer is further compressed and viceversaif the joint is closing, the buffers arereleased.

    Maintenance Algamod LW The modular joints does not

    need maintenance. Therefore is enough tocheck the rubber seals and the corrosionprotection during the periodic bridgeinspections.In case of rubber seals damage they can beeasily replaced.

    Installation - Preset

    Algamod LW

    The expansion joint isdelivered ready to be installed and it isprovided with presetting clamps forpositioning at correct opening.It can be manufactured as one structural unittill the maximum shipping length of 12 m andit shall be lifted only from the designatedpoints, preferably at support boxes location.The expansion joint width and preset shall beverified and modified, if necessary, beforethe placing.

    Moreover the levelling shall be checkedcarefully in such a way to grant a goodalignment with the road surface.Then the joint shall be linked to the structurewaiting re-bars through proper welding sothat it can work before the completionconcrete casting.Generally the modular expansion joints haveto be installed under the instructions ofqualified personnel.
