What Has Been Done

August 2, 2018: Lee County is awarded $700,000 grant funding by the FDEP to combat and remove algae.
Three test sites for this project were identified within Cape Coral:
Near the Clipper Bay condominiums
North of the Cape Coral Bridge
East of Del Prado Blvd
As of August 20, 2018 all FDEP grant funds have been exhausted in an effort to clean up Lee
