Al-Barkaat Educational Society, dedicated to the memoryof renowned Persian – Hindi sufi poet Syed ShahBarkatulaah of Marehra, district Etah, came into being in1995. The Al-Barkaat Educational Society derivesinspiration from the life and the teachings of a galaxy ofillustrious Sufis of Khanqah-e-Barkaatia, Marehra Sharif(Etah, U.P). It owes its inception to the profound vision of theGreat Sufi Hazrat Syed Shah Mustafa Haider HasanMiyan Qadri, father of the Founder and the President ofABES Professor Syed Shah Muhammad Amin, the presentSajjadah Nashin of Khanqah-e-Barkaatia and thePresident of Dargah Syed Shah Barkatullah Committee.He is the moving sprit and the light behind this novel project in establishing various educational institutions in India.

Al-Barkaat Public School is situated on Anoop Shahr Road, approximately 5 Kms. from Aligarh Railway Station. Spreadon more than two acres of lush green, eco-friendly environment, Al-Barkaat Public School's campus is divided into fourwings, the Pre-Primary section exclusively for tiny tots, the Junior section, the senior secondary section (boys), a section forgirls i.e the Qadiria Girls Section providing education to the girls from class VI to XII in a separate and independentenvironment. Pem Prakash (Light oflove) is the title of Syed Shah Barkatullah's collection ofHindi poetry. This hostel is for students of junior classes i.e.

for classes VI to IX.The Hostel is dedicated to the memory of Late Prof. Akhter Zaheer Rizvi (alias Gama

Bhai) founder member of Al-Barkaat Educational Society. This hostel is for senior classes i.e. for classes X to XII.This hostel is dedicated to the loving mother of President of the Society.

This hostel is thoroughly endowed with all amenities required for academic and residential purpose.The hostel facility is a home away from home with the best boarding in the region with air cooled hostels, uninterruptedpower supply backup and parent like guardians to create a home like atmosphere.Trained competent staff members have been assigned to make sure that everything runs smoothly and the welfare of thestudents is taken care of. To ensure the safety of the students, the campus is well guarded by the best security personneland is under 24 hours of CCTV surveillance. A GrandMosque, Dining Hall and Fitness Centre are just walkingdistance from the hostel. Hospital facility with residentialdoctors (Separate for boys and girls) is available round theclock for the boarders.
