During my first few weeks in the store my observation overall in the department was that the associates were not consistently bringing out the shoe of the week the Michael kors Fulton Moc. I coached each associate on how to present this shoe to every customer no matter what they were shopping for. When I first approached Alix about this she gave me some resistance. I first set the expectation and explained why it was important to me and how it would benefit her. We role-played how to present it to the customer and why it was important. I talked about it every day and recognized Alix every time I observed her bring it out with her presentation. The more success Alix had the more she believed in it. During our Shoe Diva event as a department we sold 27 pairs of the Michael Kors Fulton Moc. Alix was a big contributor to the success of the department!
