Why I picked It

I picked sloths because they are so cute and adorable.

Background Sloths are mammals and sloths can live around

25 or 30 years. Sloths are also herbivores and are related to anteaters.

Adaptations Sloths have long claws that help them climb trees

but it is harder to walk on the ground. Sloths are built for life in the trees that is because their arms are longer than their legs.

Diet/habitat Sloths live in Central and

South America and sloths eat Cecropia leaves and also eat buds, tender shoots, and leaves.

Characteristics Sloths color is brown

but because of the algae it mostly looks green. Sloths have tiny ears and can raise their young while hanging up- side down in trees.
