New approach to ConfessionsDuring this emergency period Confes-sions can take place without a priest andthe Vatican issued new guidelines onforgiveness of sins.

Speak toGod. He’s your Father. Tell him the truth:‘Lord, I did this and this, pardon me.’ Askhis forgiveness with all your heart with anact of contrition, and promise him, after-ward I will go to confession.’ You will returnto God’s grace immediately.

Spiritual Communionis the desire to receive Holy Communionwhen we are unable to receive.
