1. Introduction: -

In accordance with the guidelines / principles laid down in the order of the Hon’ble

Supreme Court of India in PA Inamdar V/s State of Maharashtra (Civil Appeal no.

5041 of 2005), the Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Rajasthan has formed an

Association in the name of “Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of

Rajasthan”. This Federation shall be conducting a common entrance test (PC-PMT

2015) for Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Rajasthan for admission in MBBS

& BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16.

The Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Rajasthan, herein after

referred as “The Federation”, is duly registered with the Registrar Societies under the

Societies Act, having registration No. 481 / Jaipur /2003-04 dated 20.10.03 and

office at 17-C, Near Seva Mandir, Old Fatehpura, Udaipur – 313001. Tele: +91-

7665017757 / +91-7665017758.

The said entrance test shall be conducted in the name of “Private College’s Pre

Medical Test” (PCPMT) 2015 for admission in MBBS & BDS Course and the

constituent Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Federation which are duly approved

by Concerned Council, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Govt. of

Rajasthan. The admissions shall be made for the seats available to respective member

institutions of the Federation for the ensuing academic year 2015-16.

3. Private College’s Pre Medical Test (PC-PMT) 2015 of

Rajasthan: -

In pursuance to the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Maharshi

Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer shall conduct the PC-PMT 2015 for the

selection of the students for the available seat and as permitted by Govt. of

Rajasthan, Dept. of Medical Education, Gr-1, Jaipur.

3.1 Name of the Entrance Examination & Conducting Authority:

The Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Rajasthan shall conduct an

entrance examination for admission to the available seats of the Member Institutions.

Selection procedure for MBBS & BDS Courses for the Academic year 2015-16 in

the name of Private College’s Pre Medical Test (PC-PMT 2015).

3.2 Coordinator of Entrance Examination:

The Coordinator of PC-PMT 2015 shall be the sole authority for conducting the

examination and declaration of result. No member institute / or their representatives /

trustees / employees shall have any role in conducting the examination and

declaration of its result. The Coordinator shall make all arrangements for

transparency of the examination.

September, 2015 i.e. No admission shall be made after 30th

“The Individual Private Medical / Dental Colleges can fill up to 15% of their seats as

NRI / NRI Sponsored / Management Quota in keeping with the directions given by

Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

4. Pattern and Scheme of the PC-PMT-2015 Entrance

Examination: - 4.1 Character:

The proposed entrance examination will be of All India Character and students not

only from Rajasthan domicile but also from any part of India as well as Foreign

Nationals / NRI’s are eligible to appear in this PC-PMT 2015 provided that the

candidates fulfil other eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS & BDS courses as

per the rules and regulations of the MCI & DCI.

4.2 Standard for Examination:

The standard of questions in the paper shall be broadly based on ten plus two (10+2)

Higher / Senior Secondary examination of Central Board of Secondary Education

(CBSE).

4.3 Written Entrance Examination:

PC-PMT-2015 shall consist of a written exam on 31-05-2015 (02:00 P.M to 05:00

P.M.). In the entrance examination, a candidate must secure minimum of marks at

50th

percentile in PC-PMT 2015 Test held for the said academic year. However, in

respect of candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC the minimum marks shall be at

40th

percentile. In respect of General Candidate with locomotive disability of lower

limbs, the minimum marks shall be at 45th

percentile. The percentile shall be

determined on the basis of highest marks secured in merit list of PC-PMT 2015 for

admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

4.4 Pattern of Entrance exam, question paper:

The entrance examination shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,

Biology (Botany & Zoology) of 10+2 level. The above question paper will be both in

English & Hindi Medium. The question paper will be based on the standard

mentioned above.

The question paper for the entrance examination will comprise of 200, one-best-

choice-out-of-four type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).

The number of questions shall be

Physics - 50

Chemistry - 50

Biology - 100 (50 Botany + 50 Zoology)

The candidate is required to answer 200 MCQs in 3 hours. Each question shall carry

equal marks.

• Question paper will be both in English & Hindi Medium.

• There will be Negative Marking (‘+4’ marks shall be awarded for each correct

answer, ‘-1’ mark for a wrong answer, and ‘0’ for un-attempted question.)

4.5 Answering Method:

The candidates appearing in the entrance examination will be given a separate self

carboned two part OMR answer sheet, one of which will be the main sheet and

remaining will be the carbon copies. The candidates shall be allowed to take the third

copy of the answer sheet after the examination is over.

The answer sheet used will be of special type OMR sheet and will be scanned by an

Optical Scanner.

The format of the Answer sheet that will be found placed inside the examination

booklet is given in this booklet. On the answer sheet there are 200 rows of four

circles each. One row pertains to one question. Candidates are advised to go through

the format of the answer sheet carefully and be conversant with the requirements of

giving particulars and marking the answers.

Following Precautions to be taken while filling up the OMR sheet:

1. Use only Blue/Black ball point pen.

2. Do not make rough work on the OMR sheet.

3. Make entries only in the space provided in the sheet. Do not make any

stray marks elsewhere in the sheet.

4. Darken the circles completely and evenly. If the correct answer, circle

is marked by line, cross, dot etc., computer will not read them

correctly for which candidates will be responsible.

5. Only one circle shall be fully darkened for each answer using

BLUE/BLACK BALL PEN as shown in the example on the OMR

Answer Sheet. If any candidate darkens more than one circle his / her

answer will be treated as wrong.

6. Method to darken the oval correctly.

The OMR answer sheet contains the following columns (mentioned below), which

are to be filled in neatly and accurately by the candidate with blue/black ball point

pen only. Roll number (5 digit), test booklet number (5 digit), Booklet Code (A, B,

C, D), Category (GEN., PH, SC, ST, OBC, SBC), Domicile (Rajasthan or Out of

Rajasthan), Name of the center, date of examination and signature of the candidate.

Sealed Answers booklet will be distributed to the candidate. The seal shall be broken

/ opened by the candidates after being instructed by the supervisor or examination

invigilator. Please do not open / break the seal before the announcement in the

examination hall.

The candidates shall write and mark his / her rolls number and put his / her signature

in the space provided.

The Question booklet contains 200 questions and each question carries four answers

marked A, B, C & D, out of which only one is correct.

On Receipt of the Test Booklet, the candidate should immediately check it and

ensure that it contains all pages i.e. two hundred questions. Discrepancy, if any

should be reported by the candidate to the invigilator within 10 minutes of receiving

the test booklet.

Paper shall be of 800 marks and shall contain 200 objective type questions. Each

question shall have four options to answer, out of which only one shall be correct.

‘+4’ marks shall be awarded for each correct answer, ‘-1’ mark for a wrong answer,

and ‘0’ for un-attempted question. All circles will be empty in the OMR answer

sheets supplied in the examination hall. The candidate should darken only one circle

corresponding to the correct answer. No change in the answer once marked is

allowed. If more then one circles are found darkened for the answer of one question,

it will be deemed as incorrect response and shall be negatively marked (“-1” mark

shall be awarded for such incorrect response).

The candidate shall not indicate the answer in any other way i.e. tick mark, cross, dot

line etc. as these will not be accepted and the answer will be treated as wrong. The

candidates are also instructed not to make any stray marks on the Answer Sheet.

If more than one circle is darkened or if the response is marked in a wrong manner it

shall be treated as wrong answer.

The candidates shall not do any rough work or writing work on the Answer Sheet and

all rough work shall be done in the empty sheets provided in the examination

Booklet.

The order of question is not the same in all Examination Booklet and the pages are

jumbled. So candidates are instructed not to change their Examination Booklet

during the examination. The candidates are not allowed to take the Examination

Booklet along with them after the completion of the examination. All the candidates

shall leave both the Answer Sheet and the Examination Booklet in the examination

hall on their allotted seats.

4.6 PC-PMT-2015-16 Entrance Examination Centers:

There will be three entrance examination centres in the state of Rajasthan in the

following cities.

[01] Ajmer

[02] Jodhpur

[03] Udaipur

Number of entrance examination centre may be increased or decreased depending

upon the total number of applications received. The name and address of the entrance

examination centres will be mentioned on the admit card / hall ticket

5. Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MBBS & BDS Courses:

No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the curriculum of first year of the

MBBS & BDS courses until:

1. He / she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the

year of admission to the MBBS & BDS courses i.e. on or before 31st December

2015 and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

2. He / she has passed qualifying examination as under:

The senior secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination

or from any recognized Board which is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a

period of 12 years study, the last two years of the study comprising of Physics,

Chemistry, Biology or any other elective subject with English at a level not less

than the core course of English as prescribed by the NCERT after introduction of

10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee

on Education.

Provided also that:

(a) A candidate for admission in MBBS and BDS course must have passed in the

subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must

have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry

and Biology at the 10+2 examination. In respect of candidates belonging to

SC/ST/OBC/SBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken

together in 10+2 examination be 40% instead of 50%, while in case of

Physically Handicapped it shall be 45% instead of 50% as above and must have

passing marks in English.

(b) The student presently studying in Class XII and appearing at Senior Secondary

Examination, 2015 can also apply for PC-PMT 2015. Such candidates shall be

permitted provisionally to appear in PC-PMT 2015 Examination, provided that

he/she encloses his/her admit card of 10+2 Examination. He / She must submit

his/her mark sheet (relevant documents) at the time of counselling.

6. Information Brochure & Application Form: -

6.1 Information Brochure and Application Form:

This is common for registration for entrance examination and admission in MBBS &

BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16.

6.2 Issue of Information Brochure and Application Form:

The information brochure containing Application Form for entrance examination and

admission in MBBS & BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16 will be made

available from 13-04-2015 to 18-05-2015.

• Manual : Will be available at :

6.3 Last date of submission of filled in Application Form:

The completed application along with necessary enclosures / documents must be sent

to The Co-ordinator PC-PMT-2015, HRDC, Brihaspati Bhawan, Maharshi

Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer - 305009 before 18-05-2015 (5.00 P.M).

7. Application Form: -

Application Form for Registration and Admission in MBBS & BDS courses for the

Academic Year 2015-16 will be made available as per above details.

All the eligible candidates desirous of getting admission in MBBS & BDS degree

courses shall apply to the Co-ordinator, PC-PMT-2015 only in the prescribed

Application Form. The Information Brochure containing Application Form for

Registration & Admission to the MBBS & BDS courses for this academic year 2015-

16 can be filled online from website www.fmpdcr.com and can also be obtained

manually from the address given in Para 6.2 of PC-PMT 2015 Information

Brochure during working hours (on all working days) either in person or by

depositing a crossed bank demand draft of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only)

drawn in favour of “Federation of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of

Rajasthan” payable at Udaipur. Candidate shall fill-up the Application Form in his

/ her own handwriting in capital letters (block letters) written neatly and legibly.

Candidate can also apply online for the PC-PMT 2015 on the website

www.fpmdcr.com.

The completed Application Form along with necessary enclosures/documents must

be sent by registered or speed post or by hand to the office of The Co-ordinator PC-

PMT-2015, HRDC, Brihaspati Bhawan, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati

University, Ajmer – 305009. The last date of submission of duly filled in

Application Form by the Candidate is 18-05-2015 (5:00 P.M.).

7.1 Instructions to the Candidates for Filling the Application Form :

For Online Applications:

Note: Details of the Demand Draft of Rs. 6,000/- is mandatory for filling the

application form.

• Candidate interested in appearing for the PC-PMT 2015 Exam has to register

himself/herself on the website : www.fmpdcr.com

• After successful registration candidate will receive a User Id and Password on the

mobile and e-mail id given at the time of registration.

• The User Id will be a Unique Id and will be allotted to each candidate appearing

for PC-PMT 2015 examination and will be useful in every correspondence

related to PC-PMT 2015 examination. Therefore every candidate is requested to

enter the correct mobile number and e-mail id. Application Forms can be

downloaded only after successful registration.

• After successful registration use your User Id and Password to fill the

Application Form. Your application form is password protected.

• All the fields in Application Form are mandatory to fill and candidate has to be

careful while filling the online application form.

• The candidate can edit the details entered by him/her in the Application Form

until he/she clicks the “Submit” Button for final submission of application form.

Once the candidate clicks the “Submit” Button, he/she will not be able to edit the

entered data. Therefore, the candidates are advised to click “Submit” button only

and only if he/she is sure that the Data entered in the Online Application Form

are correct and no further editing is required.

• Candidate is required to upload his/her recent passport size photograph (not older

than 3 months) and signature as per the facility provided on the web portal of the

online application form. Ensure that the image size of photograph should not

exceed 25 KB (maximum) in the JPEG/JPG File Format and the image size of

Signature should not exceed 15 KB (maximum) in the JPEG/JPG File Format.

• The Office of the PC-PMT 2015 will not be responsible for any consequence

arising out of non-acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion of any Data of

the application form after clicking the “Submit” Button.

• It is compulsory to send hard copy (printout) of application form along with the

attested copies of relevant certificates and requisite fee as mentioned in the check

list by Speed Post / Registered Post (not by normal post and courier) or by hand

on the following address on or before 18.05.2015 (5:00 PM)

state of Rajasthan in the following cities.

upon the total number of applications received. The name and address of the

entrance examination centres will be mentioned on the admit card / hall ticket

For Manual Applications:-

• A candidate seeking registration to the PC-PMT-2015 entrance examination is

required to send his/her application in the prescribed Application Form, appended

in this Information Brochure. A candidate shall not fill and submit more than one

Application Form for the entrance examination.

• Before filling up the Application Form the candidate must familiarize himself /

herself with the information given in this brochure and shall satisfy his / her

eligibility to appear in the entrance examination. All the candidates are required

to go through the Information Brochure very carefully and acquaint himself /

herself with all the requirements in regard of the filling up the Application Form.

• Fill the form in English using capital letters, (except for signature).

• The candidate shall fill-up the Application Form in his/her own handwriting in

capital letters (block letters) written neatly and legibly with blue/black ink ball

• Overwriting, cutting, erasing in the Application Form may lead to rejection of the

form. Any error arising on this account shall be sole responsibility of the

candidates. It is advisable to first fill the Application Form in a Photocopy of the

form and then fill in the original Application Form.

• Any discrepancy in the statement and / or submission of incomplete forms may

lead to rejection of the application / cancellation of admission.

• A candidate is required to paste a recent colour photograph (not older than three

months) at the appropriate place on the application form. The photograph must be

signed by the candidate at the edge and should not be defaced.

• Name of the Applicant: A candidate shall write his / her name in capital letters

as it appears in his/her marks sheet of the qualifying examination.

• Name of the Parent / Guardian: A candidates shall write the name of his / her

parent / guardian (Any person, other than the parents of the candidate, can

become guardian only if the parents are not alive or are insane).

• Occupation and Annual Income: Please mention occupation and annual income

of the parents/guardian.

• Date of Birth: A candidate shall enter the date, month and year of his / her birth

as recorded in 10th

standard Board certificate.

• Address for Correspondence: Write the complete postal address including PIN

code to which all communications are to be sent. Also write the telephone

numbers with STD code, mobile number and Fax/e-mail address if any.

• Declaration: A candidate and the Parent / Guardian must sign with date the

declaration to authenticate the information provided by them as per format on a

Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10/- and duly attested by a notary public and the

same shall be submitted at the time of admission only. There is no need to send

the declaration or an affidavit along with the Application Form.

• Details of 10+2: Write the month and year, school/college and Board /

University from where the candidate has passed or has appeared for 10+2 or

equivalent examination.

• Subject-wise marks of 10+2: Write maximum marks, marks obtained and the

percentage subject-wise in the appropriate column and clearly mention the

aggregate marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB).

Examination Centre: There will be three entrance examination centres in the state

of Rajasthan in the following cities.

[01] Ajmer

[02] Jodhpur

[03] Udaipur

Number of entrance examination centre may be increased or decreased depending

upon the total number of applications received. The name and address of the entrance

examination centres will be mentioned on the admit card / hall ticket

• Last date: The last date of submission of duly filled Application Form is 18-05-

2015 (5:00 P.M.) The Application Form duly filled in along with the required

documents, if any, should be sent to the Co-ordinator, PCPMT-2015, HRDC,

Brihaspati Bhawan, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer -

305009 by speed post / registered post or by hand.

• Enclosures: The Application Form (Both Manual and Online) shall accompany

the following attested copies of the certificates / testimonials.

1. Certificate of Age (Secondary School Certificate)

2. 10+2 or Equivalent Examination Marks Sheet

3. The student presently studying in Class XII and appearing at Senior Secondary

Examination, 2015 can also apply for PC-PMT 2015 Such candidate shall be

permitted provisionally to appear in PC-PMT 2015 examination, provided that

they enclose copy of their admit card of 10+2 examination. They must submit

their marks-sheet on or before counselling.

ADMIT CARD

(a) Online Candidates: The admit card can be downloaded from the website

www.fpmdcr.com from 25.05.2015 by using your User Id and Password.

(b) Manual Candidates : The admit card can be downloaded from the website

www.fpmdcr.com from 25.05.2015 by using their Application Form No. as

User Id and Date of Birth in the format DD/MM/YYYY as Password.

NOTE : In case candidate faces problem while downloading he/she can contact on

help desk numbers +91-7665017757 / +91-7665017758. Candidate will be required

to report at the examination centre with admit card along with a photo identity

proof with Xerox copy to be submitted.

Candidates are advised to upload / paste most recent photograph only on the

admission form to avoid identification problem.

8. Selection Procedure and Admission: -

8.1 Merit list:

Selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of the merit list of the PC-PMT-

2015. The selection will be based on merit-cum-choice for the course and preference

for the college. The students will be allotted the colleges strictly accordingly to the

merit cum choice of the course and preference of the college.

8.2 The inter-se-merit of candidates for tie-breaking :

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in PC-PMT 2015 the inter-

se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:

a. Candidates obtaining higher marks in biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test.

b. Candidates obtaining higher marks in chemistry in the Test.

c. Candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects in the

Test.

d. Candidates older in age to be preferred.

8.3 Publication of merit list / result of PC-PMT-2015:

The result will be uploaded on the website www.fpmdcr.com on or before 5th

June

2015 (as mentioned in calendar for academic year 2015-16 on page 5) and the 1st

counselling for allotment and admissions as per the merit list will be carried out on

24th

to 25th

June, 2015 and it shall be the responsibility of the candidate to appear for

counselling on the prescribed date at 10:00 A.M onwards at Pacific Institute of

Management, Pacific Hill, Pratap Nagar Extn., Airport Road, Debari, Udaipur -

313024; and to deposit the fee and complete all formalities of admission including

submission of all the required original certificates etc. and appear for the medical

examination within the specified date and time given by the Convener of Entrance

Examination PC-PMT-2015, failing which they shall forfeit their chance of

admission to the institute.

8.4 Allotment:

The allotment of colleges to the selected candidates from the common merit list

through the counselling shall be done by the counselling board of the Federation.

Complete transparency and fairness shall be observed in the same.

SC/ST/OBC/SBC/PH reservations will be made as per the policy of the State Govt,

Central Govt. and other relevant regulatory bodies.

8.5 Medical Examination:

The admitted candidates will be subjected to a medical examination of physical

fitness by the medical board of the respective member institutions of the Federation,

as per the required standards. If any candidate is found unfit, his/her admission will

be cancelled and fee will be refunded.

8.6 Vacant Seats:

Last Dates up to which students can be admitted against vacancies arising due to any

reason should be 30th

September 2015.

8.7 Cancellation of Admission & Withdrawal from the course:

1. The provisional admission of the student, who has paid admission fees but fails to

join the course at the institute within the time limit communicated, is liable to be

cancelled, and the tuition fee paid will not be refunded in case the seat remains

vacant due to this reason.

2. The prescribed fee once paid will not be refunded if after registration of

provisional admission, any student withdraws / discontinue from the course /

college in midstream.

9. University Enrolment: -

All the provisionally selected candidates for admission in the first year MBBS &

BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16 in any of the member institutions of the

Federation under management through PC-PMT-2015, are required to apply to the

concerned University, through the head of the member institution on a prescribed

proforma with the required fee for enrolment and registration as per rules and

regulations of Concerned University with which institute is affiliated for MBBS &

BDS courses, on or before 31st October 2015. All the admissions are provisional

unless otherwise the required enrolment is completed with the concerned University

before the due date to be given by the same.

10. Objective of MBBS & BDS Graduate Training Programme: -

The objective of Graduate Training Programme will be based on MCI/DCI

regulations and University ordinance.

11. Fee Structure for MBBS & BDS courses (2015-16): -

11.1 Tuition fee:

The provisional/interim fee structure of the Member Institutions for the academic,

year 2015-16 are as follows:

• Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (MBBS) : Rs. 8.50 Lacs per year.

• Jodhpur Medical College & Hospital (MBBS) : Rs. 7.95 Lacs per year.

• NIMS Medical College & Hospital (MBBS) : Rs. 8.00 Lacs per year.

• Pacific Medical College & Hospital (MBBS) : Rs. 10.50 Lacs per year

• Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (MBBS) : Rs. 7.50 Lacs per year.

• NIMS Dental College & Hospital (BDS) : Rs. 3.00 Lacs per year.

• Pacific Dental College & Hospital (BDS) : Rs. 4.00 Lacs per year.

• Pacific Dental College & Research Centre (BDS): Rs. 4.00 Lacs per year.

• Geetanjali Dental & Research Institute (BDS) : Rs. 3.30 Lacs per year.

• All other Pvt. Colleges for BDS Course (BDS) : Rs. 2.30 Lac per year.

The selected candidates shall be required to deposit the prescribed fee on or before

the prescribed time at the respective member institution and as per the direction of

the Office-of the Selection Committee.

11.2 Bank Guarantee/Cash Security:-

The selected candidates may also required to submit Bank Guarantee/Cash Security

for remaining years of the total course at the time of getting admission before last

date of fee deposition in the first year of MBBS & BDS course.

12. College, Hostel Rules & Regulations for Students: -

All the students admitted shall comply with the college as well as hostel rules and

regulations to be framed from time to time by the member institution of the

Federation.

13. Declaration on Affidavit: -

13.1 Declaration by Students:

A declaration to be filled and signed by the candidate on a Non-Judicial stamp paper

of Rs. 10/- and duly attested by a notary public as per the format to be given by the

member institution of the Federation. A sample format is given along with the

prescribed Application Form and this declaration form in original shall be submitted

at the time of admission only.

13.2 Declaration by Parents:

Another declaration to be filled and signed by the parent / guardian of the candidates

on a Non Judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10/- and duly attested by the notary public as

per the format to be given by the member institution of the Federation. A sample

format is given along with the prescribed Application Form and this declaration form

also in original shall be submitted at the time of admission only.

14. Duration of Course: -

As per MCI & DCI guidelines applicable on the date of admission.

Note:

1. Any dispute if arises in the process of selection / admission is subject to Udaipur

Jurisdiction only.

2. Coordinator PC-PMT 2015 has the right to change the dates of admission

process, examination centres etc. due to unavoidable circumstances.

15. Grievance Committee :

In case of any grievance related to question/s should be given in writing by the

candidate to the Centre Superintendent upto 6:00 P.M. on the day of PC-PMT 2015

examination.

16. Any Changes if deemed necessary, may be affected by the

Coordinator after due notice.
