BMR Advisors got a dream start when their captain decided to bat on winning the toss. Openers made 56 runs in the power play overs but 7th over did the trick for HUDCO as VK Shukla bowled Abhishek and soon Suresh Negi sent back Rajat & Amandeep to reduce BMR Advisors to 87 runs for 3 wkts. Tarun & Abhay shared 35 runs for the 4th wicket partnership helping the score to reach 122 runs and in the end BMR Advisors managed to put 148 runs on the board. Sunil Kr. Singh bowled the first wicket-maiden over of the tournament when he bowled Vishal in the first over of the match after Reebok elected to bat on winning the toss. Abhishek also went back to pavilion soon & Reebok was under pressure when Pradeep joined Saurabh. They rescued their team with 102 runs partnership from 10.1 overs wherein Pradeep made 39 while Saurabh contributed 47 runs. Towards the end, Rohit Bhatt used long handle to good effect making 34 runs off 16 deliveries while team of Dupont was generous enough to concede 42 extras to help Reebok score 196 runs from 20 overs. Vinod & Shariq came to the rescue of NIIT as they shared 38 runs partnership for last wicket and took the score to 143 runs. Atul & Nitin did the damage by taking 3 wkts each for KPMG. Xchanging Vs. Impetus

Put in to bat, Xchanging lost Paras on the score of 27 runs and soon 2 more wkts fell by the time score reached 30 runs. Tauseef & Ranjan added 26 runs for 4th wkt partnership but once again Xchanging was under pressure when 5 batsmen were back in pavilion on the score of 57 runs. Tauseef then took the attack to opposition making 58 runs in 61 runs partnership with his captain. With the help of 10 bonus runs and knock of 84 runs by Tauseef (who carried his bat through the inning), Xchanging posted a decent total of 139 runs. Though Impetus lost Kush Batra early but Karminder & Avikash shared 52 runs partnership to keep their team in the hunt. Sachin broke this partnership by disturbing the furniture of Karminder and that opened the flood gates of Impetus. Batsmen did not try to spend time on the wicket rather went for big shots resulting in the dismissal of their team at the score of 105 runs with 3 overs still to be bowled and in the process lost bonus point too that was just 7 runs away. JRA won the toss and decided to bat but lost Vishwanathan in first over itself while other opener also perished soon. Sriram gave a simple catch at mid-on when team total was 34 runs but Ravi Kumar & Vinay added 30 runs for 4th wicket partnership but Batsmen to follow could not contribute much and JRA was able make only 127 runs only. Raman & Ravinder provided a superb start of 47 runs from 7.4 overs when Ravi Chandran brought himself to the attack and struck with his 4th delivery and then in the next over trapped Raman in front of wickets. Ranganathan was complimenting from other end as he conceded only 18 runs from 4 overs and took a wkt as well. Openers of Microsoft provided a decent start of 49 runs when their captain chose to bat first. Ajju Kumar went after the bowlers after being dropped on 6 runs to make 76 runs from 58 deliveries. It was mainly due to his knock that Microsoft was able to put 155 runs on the board. Amit Verma who was suffering from food poisoning and came to play the match after being discharged from hospital, bowled well to take 3 wkts. Krishan Kumar & Kamal Shaiva took the attack to opposition as they made 55 runs from 4.5 overs to release the pressure. Later Krishan & Sachin added 41 runs for 2nd wkt partnership but super over did the trick for ICICI Bank as Ashish Paliwal gave away 16 runs and as a result ICICI Bank reached home with 2 overs to spare. We have come to know that Amit Verma has to be admitted in the hospital after the match and was in ICU for 2 days. His condition is stable now and we wish him speedy recovery. Reebok scored 51 runs from first 10 overs but made 98 runs from the next 10 overs mainly due to a superb knock of 39 not out runs by Debashish. Thriving on 2 dropped catches, Manoj made 42 runs and Opto group was well placed at 75 runs after 10 overs. Reebok came back strongly after drinks to reduce Opto Group at 93 for 4wkts.
