From the Holly with Ornaments - Black (A), cut:• (1) 10 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 10 ½” squares.

From the Urban Legend - Red (B), cut:• (2) 5 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (16) 5 ¼” squares. Cut the squares across both diagonals to make (64) 5 ¼” triangles. You will only use (62) of the triangles.• (4) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (16) 2” x 10 ½” strips.• (6) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (16) 2” x 13 ½” strips.• (2) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 1 ½” x 10 ½” strips.• (3) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 1 ½” x 12 ½” strips.• (8) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Snowman Blocks - Black (C):• Fussy cut (8) 10 ½” squares, each centered on a block. From the Holiday Gift Tags - Black (D), cut:• (4) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (28) 4 ½”.

From the Packed Snowmen - White (E), cut:• (2) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (17) 4 ½” squares.

From the Holly - White (F), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (6) 4 ½” squares.

From the Snowflakes - White on White (G), cut:• (4) 5 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (31) 5 ¼” squares. Cut the squares across both diagonals to make (124) 5 ¼” triangles.

From the Urban Legend - Hunter (H), cut:• (2) 5 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (16) 5 ¼” squares. Cut the squares across both diagonals to make (64) 5 ¼” triangles. You will only use (62) of the triangles.

From the Urban Legend - Black (I), cut:• (4) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 68 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 55 ½” strips.

From the Snowman Scenic - White (J), cut:• (2) 5 ½” x 71” Length of Fabric (LOF) strips.• From the remaining fabric, cut (2) 5 ½” x 65 ½” strips, piece as needed.

From the Snowman Christmas Stockings - Red (Backing), cut:• (2) 89” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 73” x 89” back.

1. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 10 ½” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 12 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A square to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (4) Block One squares total.

2. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 10 ½” Fabric C square. Sew (1) 2” x 13 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric C square to make (1) Block Two square (Fig. 2). Trim the block to measure 12 ½” x 12 ½”. Repeat to make (8) Block Two squares total.

3. Sew (1) 5 ¼” Fabric G triangle and (1) 5 ¼” Fabric B triangle together along short sides to make (1) GB triangle. Sew (1) 5 ¼” Fabric H triangle and (1) 5 ¼” Fabric G triangle together along short sides to make (1) HG triangle. Sew the GB and HG triangles together along their long sides to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 3). The unit should measure 4 ½” x 4 ½”. Repeat to make (62) Unit 1 squares total.

4. Sew (1) Unit 1 square to the top and to the bottom of (1) 4 ½” Fabric E square to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (8) Unit 2 strips total.

5. Sew (1) Unit 1 square to each side of (1) 4 ½” Fabric E square to make (1) Unit 3 strip (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (9) Unit 3 strips total.

6. Sew together (3) Unit 3 strips and (2) 4 ½” Fabric F squares, end to end and alternating them from left to right, to make (1) Unit 4 strip (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (3) Unit 4 strips total.

7. Sew together (8) Unit 1 strips and (7) 4 ½” Fabric D squares, alternating them from top to bottom, to make (1) Side Border (Fig. 7). Repeat to make a second Side Border.

8. Sew together (7) 4 ½” Fabric D squares and (6) Unit 1 squares, alternating them from left to right, to make the Top Border (Fig. 8 below). Repeat to make the Bottom Border.

9. Sew (1) Unit 2 strip to each side of (1) Block Two square. Sew (1) Block One squares to each end of the newly sewn strip to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Four.

10. Sew together (3) Block Two squares and (2) Unit 2 strips, alternating them from left to right, to make Row Two. Repeat to make Row Three.

11. Sew together the (4) pieced Rows and (3) Unit 4 strips, lengthwise and alternating them from top to bottom, to make the Center Block.

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)12. Sew (1) Side Border to each side of the Center Block. Sew the Top Border and Bottom Border to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

13. Sew (1) 2” x 68 ½” Fabric I strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 55 ½” Fabric I strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

14. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 71 ½” Fabric J strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 65 ½” Fabric J strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

15. Layer and quilt as desired.

16. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

17. Bind as desired.
