Ge- netics, stress and age can alter a clear, youth- ful appearance. Acne, wrinkles, sun damage, dryness, oily skin, irritated eye area and dark circles are common symptoms of an underlying problem. I have mastered amazing results with my rejuvenating facials,” said Molczan, who had a salon in New York City for 22 years and opened Allure By the Sea seven months ago. Molczan’s passion is to empower clients to understand their skin and know what it is telling them. She helps this healing process by provid- ing the proper tools - information, treatments and products - to beautify from inside out. Because she is an expert in personalizing fa- cials to meet the needs of each skin type, her cli- ents have seen transformative results from dull to glowing and gorgeous in just one treatment. “Like any other health regimen, maintenance BY DIANE FEEN PHOTOS BY MELISSA KORMAN and consistency is key. My loyal customers swear I have taken 10 years off their appearance.” All you have to do is listen to her clients to re- alize that Molczan is considered one of the best in the business. “Ela did my facials for 11 or 12 years in New York. When I moved to Florida, I did not trust anyone else to touch my skin. I was thrilled when she called and said she was moving to Florida and opening a salon. Ela steams your face, extracts the impurities and applies the proper mask. She also puts your hands in warm mittens and massages your arms and hands. The end result is that Ela makes me look wonderful,” said Boynton Beach resident Beth Nelkin. It is one thing to say nice things about your facialist, but it’s even better when people notice the difference. “I get compliments on my skin all the time. People come up to me and say, ‘Your skin is gorgeous and you don’t even wear a lot of make-up,’” adds Nelkin. According to Nelkin, Ela talks about the prod- ucts she sells, but doesn’t push them on clients. She admits it took her a while to buy some of Ela’s products, but it was definitely worth trust- ing this skin specialist. “My skin is absolutely radiant and clear. I have very few wrinkles, and I don’t end up with bruises and blotches after a facial,” adds Nelkin, who is 70-years-old. One of the added bonus’s of going to Allure By The Sea is that they have an excellent selec- tion of hair care and skin products. They sell J. F. Lazartigue of Paris for scalp and hair treat- ment, Epicuren skin care products as well as Douceur skin care products that cleanse and remove skin impurities. “The skincare industry has been selling women moisturizers and creams with a-one- fits-all approach to skincare. After 23 years of Esthetician experience I am sure that if you de- toxify your skin instead of clogging your pores with day or night moisturizers, you will have beautiful skin,” said Molczan. Great skin is important and so is your hair. Al- lure By The Sea also has a hair expert to shape up, cut and color your hair to perfection. Mer- edith Yannon, who has been doing hair for the past 16 years, is a master at cutting and styl- ing hair to maximize your inherent beauty. She trained at the famous Bumble and Bumble Sa- lon in New York City and has a way of getting hair to act its best. “My cutting edge techniques work well for any hair type: short, long, curly or straight. This includes color, highlighting and texturizing as well.” Just ask Kim Johnson. “Meredith gave me a haircut that is wonder- ful, I love it. It was out of control before but now it is textured in the back and voluminous in the front. It really made it look so much better. I also bought a styling gel that is wonderful,” said Johnson, who is a chef in Texas. Johnson found Allure By The Sea by way of her mother Janice McCosh. “Meredith did a phenomenal job on my mother’s hair. It took ten years off her face – she colored it and shaped it – and it looks amazing now. My mom used to live in Davie but moved to Boca Raton and now she won’t go anywhere else to have her hair cut, it is amazing what a good haircut can do,” said Johnson. The other part of this friendly and talented team is nail expert Vania Hulten. Just watching her work is a lesson in dedication. Clients often fall asleep while in the white leather banquette that doubles as the pedicure station. Fiona Ro- berto is one of them. “I walked by and noticed what a relaxing, un- pretentious, refreshing salon this was and I de- cided to get a manicure with Vania. She did such a nice job that I came back today to get a pedi- cure. It feels so wonderful to be here and I love the chairs,” said Roberto as she closed her eyes and blissfully soaked in the calm of the moment. It’s easy to see how everyone who visits this light airy salon with the Cape Cod décor and blue and white interior gets entranced with its intimacy and expert treatments. They also of- fer massages, waxing, eyelash extensions and make-up and hair styling for special occasions such as weddings and other milestone events. “In 2012 I decided that South Florida is a beautiful place to live and work. As a Skincare Expert and Esthetician, I offer personal ad- vice and facial treatments to help you achieve amazing healthy skin. We are customer service oriented, we want everyone to be happy,” adds Molczan.
