Thankfully, gone are the days when having children meant succumbing to a house full of bright-yellow bins and sofas wrapped in plastic. Today, new materials and technologies make it easy to create a beautiful, well-designed home that meets the needs of adults and children alike. The following tips may help you design a living space that satisfies your design goals and meets the demands of your youngest family members.

1- Invest in good furniture.

It may seem counterintuitive, but Erica Islas, interior designer and founder of EMI Interior Design, encourages clients with young children to buy high-quality furniture. “Some people are afraid to invest in living rooms and family rooms because they think kids will ruin everything,” Islas says. “But the truth is that you have to get things that will hold up to children.”Children are notoriously tough on furniture; and the cheaper furniture you may be tempted

to buy will likely break more easily and need to be replaced frequently.

Instead, look for pieces that are built to withstand years of abuse and can be reupholstered or refinished once your children have grown. Furthermore, many furniture manufacturers and stores offer warranties. Consider those carefully and decide if the extra protection would be of value to your family.

Instead of creating a neutral, never-used formal area, use bold, textured fabrics throughout the rooms in which you spend the most time. Pieces incorporating color, a bit of pattern and touchable textures will not only create interesting focal points throughout your home, but will help camouflage spills. If complex patterns aren’t your thing, consider materials such as leather or vinyl that can be wiped clean. No matter your design aesthetic, make sure to

Depending upon the industry, setting up and starting your own business can be a risky venture. Many people try to choose something that will interest everyone, but you must realize that you can’t create a market that will appeal to all people. Select a market that suits your product best and then get started. Consider that starting your own business will be challenging in the beginning but rewarding in the long run. The big question that remains is, once you have some creative business ideas in mind, how do you get started?

1- Formulating Creative Business Ideas and Market Potential

You must first devise an idea that you believe has some sort of market potential. Remember that your market is

what makes and keeps you in business. Cater to your customers, and they will reward you with an increase in business. If you’ve found great market potential, you can now move onto formulating these creative business ideas into words.

Construct a rudimentary plan that covers your creative business ideas loosely but concisely as well. In this initial draft outline, ensure your idea is something that interests you and that your product or service

is easily acquirable and cost-effective. If you’re unsure, make a list of pros and cons to decide if the idea is worth pursuing.

2- Creating a Solid, Organized Business Plan

After the financing is out of the way, you can concentrate on the particulars. Next, you must decide on a legal structure when starting your own


business: sole proprietorship, a partnership, or a corporation. Choosing one of these set-ups will help in the long run; however, your financing will ultimately determine which structure you choose.

You’ll also need to spend money on advertising and marketing for your business. It is here that more of your creative business ideas come into play; consider using both local and regional newspapers, television, fliers, the Internet, and the radio. Preparación

en la cazuela. Mantengala el fuego, removiendola suavemente con una cuchara de madera, hasta

que la crema espese y adquiera la consistencia de unas natillas espesas. Cuando la crema haya alcanzado la consistencia deseada, anada las hojas de gelatina exprimiendolas antes para

eliminar el agua. Remuevalo todo hasta que las hojas de gelatina s e hayan disuelto

completamente en la crema de cafe. Vierta la mezcla en vasos pequenos y enfríelos en la

nevera durante al menos 3 horas.

·6 vasos de agua (110 ml)

·1 bol

·1 cazuela

Ingredientes

·2 capsulas de Grand Cru Decaffeinato Intenso (2 x 40 ml)5 yemas de huevo

·300 ml de leche

·300 ml de nata

·120 g de azucar blanco 6 hojas de gelatina

Decaffeinato Intenso de Nespresso


Cafe con Helado de Vainilla Caliente y

Espuma de Leche de Caramelo

Preparación

Prepare la espuma de leche utilizando la boquilla de vapor de su maquina Nespressoo el espumador de leche Aeroccino, anada el sirope

de caramelo y reservela. Prepare dos cafes Espresso en un vaso grande y viertalos en una

taza grande previamente enfriada. Anada inmediatamente la cucharada de helado y

cubralo con la espuma de leche. Decore los

cafes con virutas de chocolate.

·1 taza de Cappuccino (170 ml)

·1 vaso grande

·1 espumador de leche Aeroccino o la boquilla de vapor de su maquina Nespresso

A month ago, against the advice of others, I took the ultimate leap. I quit my first job in the field of communications. Upon graduating from college, two months prior, I was filled with the same uncertainty that often takes hold of recent graduates: What happens next? Where will I work? What if I can’t find a job?

My first job at an advertising agency taught me a lot not just about the field, but about myself. For years, I envisioned an office job. I was lured by stability and the thought that I’d know what to expect day after day, even when something unexpected happened.

At work, my days started to blend into one another, as I gazed at a computer screen hours on end. I’d



leave the office and return the following day feeling as though I’d never left. It was the same kind of concoction I’d experienced while being unemployed, the sinking feeling that I wasn’t making the most of my time and that I was therefore, wasting time. Other aspects of the job also led to the deterioration of my enthusiasm for it.

What was I to do? Remain in a job because society dictated I do so? I thought about my friends, fresh out of college, still unemployed. I thought and compared. I should be grateful, and I was. I still am grateful for that opportunity. But I wasn’t happy, and I knew that eventually, inevitably my work would suffer. So, I made a choice. I left.

I used to think success was a linear, uprising process. I know now that that isn’t the case. There is no one path to success because everyone is different, and so every journey is too.

Maybe for some, a dream job already exists, but for others, it may not be so simple. You may have to go out there and create your dream job. I know because I’m in the process of doing just that.

Trust your instincts, even when others don’t trust your decisions. Don’t be afraid to take chances. Build and maintain connections. Push yourself and your work because if you don’t, no one else will be inclined to. Do more of what fascinates you and let the road ahead take its own form. As with anything else in life, there will be challenges, but you’ll be fueled with the passion that grips those who do

what they love.

Paulina Rubio fue conocida en México, su país natal, con la banda musical infantil Timbiriche en 1981 bajo el manejo de el legendario cantante Español Miguel Bosé.

1991

Paulina se separa del grupo en 1991, después de haber grabado diez álbumes de estudio. En los años 90 inició su carrera como solista con la compañía discográfica EMI Music, con quien grabó cuatro álbumes de estudio. De estos, los dos primeros La Chica Dorada (1992) y 24 Kilates (1993) la colocaron como una de las cantante juveniles con más éxito comercial en su país natal. Sus siguientes producciones, El Tiempo Es Oro (1995) y Planeta Paulina (1996) la dieron a conocer en otros paises de América Latina.

2000

Con una nueva etapa bajo el sello Universal Music Group, la cantante lanzó su quinta y sexta producción, Paulina (2000) y Border Girl (2002), con los cuales tuvo éxito comercial en Latinoamérica y en algunas partes de Europa; el primero de estos discos le otorgó premios, nominaciones y ventas. i tú y tu empresa mantienen una buena reputación entre tu circulo de clientes y

amigos, existe una gran posibilidad de que estas mismas personas transmitan una buena opinión acerca de tu empresa a mas amigos y contactos. Esta publicidad gratuita resulta ser una de las técnicas de promoción mas efectivas. Naturalmente dicha publicidad que te hacen tus clientes y amigos podría aumentar siempre y cuando ellos se encuentren satisfechos al usar los productos de tu empresa.

Desafortunadamente esta no es una cuestión simple y no sucede automáticamente a menos que hayas establecido un buen método para ser recomendada.

A continuación presentamos siete pasos para aumentar tus ventas a través de recomendaciones:

1- Prepara un formulario sencillo

Es importante contar todo el tiempo con un documento que sea simple para que tus clientes escriban una recomendación durante un evento, mantenerlo en tu website o para ser enviado por correo. Mencionales que para ti es muy importante los

comentarios acerca de tus productos o servicios. Incluye espacios en blanco específicamente para solicitar recomendaciones y explicales que ellos recibirán siempre un incentivo por referir a otros clientes y amigos.

2- Atrévete a solicitar testimonios.

Aprovecha cualquier oportunidad para solicitar testimonios a clientes que estén contentos con los resultados de tu empresa. Explicales con entusiasmo que dicha recomendación va a ser de gran ayuda para ti y que se publicara en tu sitio de Web, folletos, y promociones impresas. Menciónales que su ayuda es muy valiosa. Al obtener un primer grupo de recomendaciones obtendrás buena credibilidad para aumentar tus ventas y también se hará mas fácil solicitar recomendaciones a otras personas en el futuro.

3- Intercambia recomendaciones con otras empresas.

7- Agradecele a las personas que te hayan ayudado.

En el momento que un nuevo cliente te contacte recuerda preguntarle como supo de tu empresa. Dichas respuestas te servirán para saber que promociones están funcionando mas y cuales personas te están recomendando. Después que hayas averiguado quienes fueron las personas que te recomendaron, toma un poco de tiempo para agradecer que te hayan ayudado.
