Alpha Chi Omega members have a full schedule of social events in both the fall and the spring semester with swaps, formals, and date parties. From Tacky Christmas to Calypso in the spring, we are always having a

blast dressing up and getting together for these social events. !

Our chapter has excelled in academics ranking first among the sororities at the University of Alabama for the past twenty years. We have maintained an average of a 3.5 GPA, and we hold a

scholarship banquet each spring to reward our members for excelling academically. We are proud to have recently achieved the title of Highest All-Sorority GPA.

Philanthropy !

Alpha Chi Omega’s philanthropy is domestic violence awareness. Our annual events include

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, a high-heeled relay race around The Quad benefitting our national

philanthropy. This year we are also starting an event at the Alpha Chi Omega house on the

day of the A-Day football game; a benefit for Big Oak Ranch in Birmingham, Alabama.

*Alpha Chi Omega is one of the few sororities that use all-inclusive billing. Members will not be billed additional amounts for a badge, philanthropy

events, sisterhood events, bus transportation, new member retreat,

programming, etc. We have found that this ends up costing our members much less for these expenses. This is important to note when making cost comparisons.

Our parents that experienced both methods have confirmed this.
