Alsecure® Fire Rated range of cables are designed to preserve
circuit integrity of essential services and electrical equipment
during fire. Alsecure® INFIT Ceramifiable 90ºC is a unique
polymer technology that transforms the cable from a flexible
insulation into a ceramic barrier during fire. Alsecure® Plus 110°, is a MICA Tape layer that acts as protective barrier
during fire. These cables meet the WS52W fire test in
accordance with AS/NZS 3013.

A cable temperature rating has no direct relationship to its performance during fire.
Alsecure® Ceramifiable 90ºC cables were tested up to 1050°C in accordance with Fire Test WS52W requirement and they passed the two hour fire test.
Hence they will perform the same as 110ºC to preserve circuit integrity during fire.
• Specifying 90°C fire rated cable compared to 110ºC is not only a more cost effective option, reducing your total cost of ownership, but it does so without compromising the effectiveness.
• Ceramifiable cable construction is developed with a layer of polymer insulation that is easy to strip and potentially save you cost as it would be quicker to install (especially on a project that has a large number of Multicores where installation can be tedious and time consuming).
