Entry Doors

ThermTek is a revelationFIvE TIMES THE INSULATION A standard (non thermally broken) aluminium door will often be the weak link in your home’s insulation, providing an easy place for heat to escape with an R Rating as low as 0.05. A ThermTek door provides over five times the thermal insulation of a standard (non thermally broken) aluminium door. Likewise in a hot climate, a ThermTek door will help keep your house cool.

REDUCES CONDENSATION BY 90% ON THE DOORIn areas and climates where indoor and outdoor temperatures differ widely, condensation can be a major problem, with pools of water building up around doors that have not been thermally broken. ThermTek aids the problem because ThermTek not only reduces heat loss from your home, it also reduces condensation on the door by up to a massive 90%.

THE qUIET ACHIEvERThermTek creates a superior noise barrier with ThermTek STR (Sound Travel Reduction) Technology that makes use of different material thicknesses to reduce resonance and wave travel by changing sound wave frequency.

THE FEEL OF qUALITYThe ThermTek rubber connection system thermally separates the exterior door from the interior without compromising strength. This makes for a structurally and thermally superior door that is whisper quiet, precise and snug closing. THE R/RATING IS IMpORTANT

The higher the R/Rating, the better the thermal performance of your door will be. heat will transfer through your entrance door if the Thermal rating (R/Rating) is too low.

• In aluminium doors (with no thermal break) the R/Rating is .05• Our ThermTek range has an R/Rating of .28 average• Double-glazing glass has an R/Rating of .18
