From 0 to MDiv in 5 Years

Students can now enroll in a Master of Divinityprogram that combines undergrad and seminaryin five years. Dr. John Harvey, Dean of the CIUSeminary & School of Ministry, says the goal ofthe program is to create the most efficientavenue to answering God’s call to increaseministry. The 5 year degree will help to avoidpost graduation debt while still giving thestudent the breadth and depth of an MDivdegree.

Alumni SpotlightTerrace Crawford graduated from the YouthMinistry program in 2002. Crawford moved toVirginia and worked in Student Ministry inchurches around the Virginia Beach area for 10years and served on the editorial staff forChurchLeaders.com. He now manages acoaching network for leaders and recentlylaunched a podcast "This Week in YouthMinistry."

Former FBI Agent at CIU

CIU alumna Sue Thomas ('84), says thatwhen it comes to the joys and pains oflife, she has “seen it all.” Thomas lost herhearing at 18 months old. Her ability toread lips made her a valuable agent withthe FBI, and the basis for the TV series“Sue Thomas: FBEye”  She returned toCIU on March 4, encouraging students to"know God deeply, to surrender to himfully, and to worship Him wholeheartedly."
