Emeritus Professor Gary Martin commenced as CEO and Executive Director of Australian Institute of Management (AIM) WA at the beginning of 2012. As CEO and Executive Director of Australian Institute of Management (AIM) WA, Gary has overall responsibility for leading all aspects of the Institute’s business both strategic and operational. Jeff has a proven track record in leading teams that deliver results and inspiring others to take action. He is a highly respected business leader with an extensive banking career across BankWest, NAB, Westpac and ANZ.

Anita Ratcliffe joined Efic in 2016 as State Director for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) in Western Australia. Anita is responsible for delivering financial solutions to small and medium size export businesses to help them build their businesses overseas.

Anita has a diverse banking pedigree, with experience across a range of specialised banking areas including international trade, foreign exchange, invoice finance and transactional. She joins Efic from NAB where she most

recently managed the international trade portfolio for NAB’s ASX 200 clients. Anita has also been responsible for supporting the growth of small and home-based businesses in the south west of WA, as part of Regional Development Australia. In addition to this, Anita understands what it’s like to have it all on the line, having owned her own small business employing six staff.

Louise has eighteen years’ professional experience in learning and development and is the Principal of Louise Kelly Consulting.

She is a highly skilled facilitator, coach, trainer and public speaker, with degrees in Psychology and Training & Development.

She has worked with a wide array of businesses – from casinos, banks, airlines, various government departments, Not-For-Profits and insurance companies to the

construction, oil & gas and resource sector in Australia and internationally.

Louise is a natural networker, curious about others and winner in the Nifnex Influential 100 Awards in 2015, re-nominated in 2016. She is an avid traveller and before getting into Learing and Development spent 13 years in the airlines.

Adam’s journey started with a Bachelor of Business (Economics) with Edith Cowan University. Adam was lucky enough to land a graduate job with the Australian Bureau of Statistics in Canberra. From a graduate government economist he moved through consulting in freight and logistics strategy and then on to commercial and operational leadership roles in the rail industry before finding a passion for safety.

Lois Andrijich is an experienced Human Resources Executive, having worked with large organisations across a diverse range of industries including Aged Care, Manufacturing and Retail.

Lois has strong skills in Human Resource strategy and operations, change management, mergers and acquisitions, and implementing systems and efficiencies, and is a strong believer

Adam is currently the Manager HSE at Arc Infrastructure (formerly Brookfield Rail) where he is responsible for ensuring the safety of the State’s freight rail network and its employees.

Emma is passionate about helping businesses grow and building innovative communities. This has been her career driver working in development roles for both state government and the private sector.

After more than a decade working in industry development roles within the State Government, gaining extensive experience in program management, stakeholder engagement and governance, Emma is now working at CORE Innovation Hub, a startup supporting and accelerating innovation in the resources sector.

As Community Director Emma takes a portfolio approach to building CORE as a hub for innovative business and

entrepreneurs, through working with stakeholders to ensure CORE’s programs are responsive to the needs of the resources sector, delivering industry support programs, promoting CORE’s activities and members, running a dynamic events program and ensuring an exceptional member experience for CORE coworkers and partners.

Volunteering as a Speaker Curator for TEDxPerth gives her another platform to promote Perth’s best thinkers and innovators. Esme is the immediate past President of The Royal Automobile Club of WA (RAC) and is a member of RAC Council, the RAC Sponsorship Committee and a past Director of Australian Automobile Association. She has Life membership of RACWA and also Wheelchair Sports WA now Rebound WA. She is Chair of the Ministerial Carers Advisory Council and foundation member of the Children’s Hospital Alumni of Western Australia. She is a Director of The Paraplegic Benefit Fund Board and a community representative on the

Ministers Volunteering Community Reference Group .

Esme and her husband have been involved in a family surf retail business since 1988 and were previously involved in tourism and hospitality ventures in the Kimberley region of WA .Esme has almost 30 years of nursing and disability experience and has worked as a community road safety advocate for many years. She holds BSc (Nursing), FAICD.

Allan Riley joined the WA Fire Brigade (WAFB) in August 1982. He achieved the rank of Station officer in April 1990 and worked in a number of fire and rescue business areas including fire and rescue operations, water supplies, staff deployment, planning and research and shift operations officer of the WA Fire Brigades communications centre. During this time, Allan achieved a Diploma in Fire Engineering Management (1990) and completed a Bachelor of Business degree with a double major in Management and Information Systems Management (1999). Allan has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Business (Executive Leadership and Management) at Murdoch University (2016) and has completed all units for a Graduate Diploma in Applied Management (Executive Leadership) at the Australian Institute of Police Management (2017).

Allan is recognised as a Certified Incident Controller in the AFAC Emergency Management Professionalisation Scheme.

Allan was promoted to District Officer with the WA Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) in 2000 and worked in a number of business areas including the Emergency Services Computer Aided Dispatch and Communications project, Emergency Management Services Policy and Planning, Group Manager Perth Fire Station and District Officer in various metropolitan regions. As a District Officer, Allan achieved competency in the main AIIMS functions including as a Level 3 Incident Controller.

Allan relieved as Regional Director in metropolitan and country regions and was promoted to Superintendent with the WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) in June 2013 and took charge of a number of metropolitan regions until taking up command of the WA Fire and Emergency Services Academy Command and Academic Delivery branch in June 2016.
