Alvaro Stiven Jimenez Bolivar (alum) Mano Amiga, Bello, Antioquía, Colombia. Alvaro Jimenez Bolivar is in his last year of medical school at the University of Antioquia. His desire is to serve the community and to continue to put into practice the values he received at Mano Amiga. This 22 year old is a graduate of the first class of Mano Amiga Bello Colombia (2008). He remembers with love and gratitude his time at Mano Amiga. He feels that the school provided him the comprehensive training and development that allowed him to quickly make an important decision about his future plans. He acknowledges with gratitude that his achievements would not be possible without the commitment of the person who sponsored him at Mano Amiga School. His dream is to be a thoracic surgeon. In the meantime he is focused on being a good general practitioner to give back to his parents and to society the opportunities he has received.
