Methodology adopted for laying of OFC by Open Trench Method

General:

After through study of the entire stretch of proposed OFC laying, we have proposed to laying of OFC(Optical Fiber Cable) from km.364/014 - 366/679 on NH-44 Nagapur - Hyderabad Section land atI'ctdmajiwadi and Sadhashiv Nagar Villages. Kamareddy District in the State Of Telangana.

An rndicative diagram is enclosed in the annexure for ready reference .

•:. We have proposed to lay our OFC at the extreme Edge of RO~ccording to the availability of spaceand in case where there is possibility of our cable is laid at 1.65 ill depth with HDPE Pipe Protection.

•:. All Road crossings will be done by Auguring and HDD method (Trench less technology) withoutdisturbing the Top Road surface.

•:. Restoration of trenches: After laying of ducts we will backfill the trench with excavated soil in layersand the trenches will be compacted with roller.

Pro tection Methodology in case of ulv erts

Trench shall be excavated due at the extreme boundary of ROW across waterway to culverts to the depthof 1.65 m below the invert level of the culvert / cannel and DWC pipe will be laid with (RCC full roundpipe) concrete encasement for further protection.

In case of non compliance, we propose to lay OPC cable by HDD in shorter lengths, However, the sameshall be discussed with the Executive Engineer, NHAl Division, Nirmal officials on-case to case basis andcable routing ~hfl" he decided ~,~ per their advice

the extreme edges of Row boundary R&B Road, horizontally directional drilling method the hole willbe drilled of 75mm dia through Machine and then the PLB Pipe HDPE ducts will be Pulled.

•~. The Excavated Pits will be backfilled with Excavated material in layers and Compacted.
