Amagasaki Factory
We have a great reputation among customers through our mechanical equipment and integrated work system • MachiningAmagasaki Factory 's fu l l range of specia l ly designed mechanical equipment can meet a wide range of customer’s needs, supporting tasks ranging from large-workpiece machining to precision machining. To machine metal products, the factory has a large machining center, special portal vertical lathe, large lathes that up to 35 feet and NC lathes. A line of three boring machines of the same model can machine workpieces up to 18 meters long and weighing up to 30 tons. The factory also does weld-ing processes, drawing on its integrated work system to provide the high-precision, high-quality machined products that have earned it a great repu-tation among customers.

Amagasaki Factory
Amagasaki FactoryOur technology of hardfacing weld has a top -level status in Japan• Hardfacing WeldSince our inception, welding technology has always been our core technology and what we do best. This technology involves more than just metal bonding, since hardfacing also plays an important role. Hard-facing is a technique used to give metal materials various functions and applications during the weld-ing process. OFIC has always worked to precisely meet the increasingly advanced welding needs of users. These needs include technologies such as automatic hardfacing welding, reverse-polarity soft plasma welding that minimizes the weld penetration into the workpiece material, and Powdered Plasma Transferred Arc using powders containing insoluble carbides. Our welding technologies have been rated as some of the most advanced in Japan. Cart-loaded heat treatment

Senboku Factory
Thermal spraying is a surface covering and treat-ment technique that deposits a film of melted materi-als such as ceramics, cermets, metals or resins onto a surface material to make it more wear- heat- or corrosion-resistant, or improve properties such as electrical insulation. Widely used in industrial fields requiring advanced functions, thermal spraying is used to make products such as communication satellites, high-rise steel structures, industrial machinery parts, electronic devices and consumer appl iances. Senboku Factory special izes in advanced thermal spraying technologies, and assists Amagasaki Factory as a major production base for large products manufactured with thermal spraying.
This manufacturing base has contributed forour steel business’ growth in East Japan
Omigawa FactoryIn 1969, Omigawa Factory moved to a massive site of around 22,000 square meters that OFIC had acquired in Chiba’s Omigawa Industrial Park which located in Chiba Prefecture . After initially working on pressure vessel fabrication and overlaying, the site steadily expanded its activities by constructing a specialized machining plant, a plant for large roll overlaying and large pressure vessel fabrication, and a thermal spraying plant. In 2004, Omigawa Factory installed technology for manufacturing small forged hardened steel rolls.

Omigawa Factory
We machine the large scale parts of steelmaking equipment• MachiningBuildings 1 and 3 of Omigawa Factory machining contain a variety of mechanical equipment. Installing this equipment in adjoining buildings used for various welding and thermal spraying processes enables an efficient production management system and helps the factory meet user needs with its integrated work system centered around large-scale machining. Building 1 is the machine building. It contains mechanical equipment used for machining rolls, rollers, chocks and couplings, such as a hydraulic slotter, portal planer, large lathes : up to 40 feet, NC lathes and milling machines. Building 3 contains a state-of-the-art five-plane machine tool and three boring machines.

Our equipment for special induction hardening provides high-quality rolls by their performance of high hardness and depth• Small forged hardened steel rollsOmigawa Factory started the manufacturing of small forged hardened steel rolls in January 2004 after installing heat treatment equipment acquired from Kanto Special Steel Works that was formerly a lead-ing provider and adopting its hardening technology. The new equipment ensures more stable quality, letting the factory provide rolls with new levels of quality and performance that draw on the many ben-efits of induction hardening equipment.
