Hi Everyone, thanks for your patience waiting for the class lists. I’ve been busy designing & creating for our new cardmaking kits (refer to New Arrivals). Jill and I have had a challenge launching & marketing these new kits and hope you all get a chance to try & enjoy them. All the dies, papers, stencils & other materials I have used will be listed, for ease of ordering if you “just have to have them”. We have some great technique classes this term—Whitewash Cards (13th May), Moulds, Paperclay & Finishes Cards (19th May), Mixed Media Tags 3 (10th June) & Watercolour Cards (11th June). A great book class—typography book (3rd June) & a couple of canvasses, Whitewash Canvas (28th May) & Steampunk Canvas (4th June).

If you’re looking for something pretty—Lace Layer cards & Lavinia Cards (12th May) and Heartfelt Dogwood Cards (20th May). For those who are scrapbookers Beginners Class (9th May), Open Scrap (8th June) & Tender Tendrils Scrap Canvas (17th May). This is a special year at Amanda’s of Mogo, as Jill has been working for us for 10 years. NEW ARRIVALS Amanda’s Kaisercraft Cardmaking Kits

Distress Oxide Inks Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads are water-reactive dye & pigment ink fusion that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. It is opaque on black card and works equally on light card. They are available in 12 of Tim Holtz trade mark colours. Use with stamps, stencils, and direct to surface. Blend using Ink Blending Tools and Foam. Re-ink using Distress Oxide Reinkers.

Finnabair Patina Effects Pastes This set of 3 pastes are hard and permanent yet flexible when dry. Perfect for creating texture and adding dimension to paper, chipboard, metal pieces & more. Great for steampunk, grunge and masculine projects.

Lavinia Stamps This divine range of silhouette style stamps feature fairies, trees, foliages, pods, words, animals and more to create beautiful mystical scenes. With our first order selling out within days we have restocked twice already and another 2 orders are on their way. Designs by Ryn Stamps We carry a great range of Ryn stamps including the popular Water Effects Sets 1 & 2 as well as textures, foliages, patterns and sea creatures. They are deep etched and fabulous for card making, mixed media and art journaling. See Ryn Style Cards (13th May).

Layers of diecut lace feature over very pretty papers, gorgeous images and

stunning floral clusters to create these pretty cards your friends will love.

LAVINIA CARDS

included Lavinia are a range of

gorgeous stamps featuring enchanting fantasy images,

fairies, mushrooms, fairy houses & foliage. They are

mostly silhouette in style and are fabulous on

beautiful backgrounds made with inks & sprays. You’ll also using masking technique

for depth and distance.

SATURDAY 13TH MAY WHITE WASH CARDS

You’ll learn how to create stunning backgrounds, then

WEDNESDAY 17TH MAY TENDER TENDRILS SCRAP CANVAS

Make this beautiful canvas for your best photo (a standard size photo). This canvas will have lots of layering and dimension with

a feminine garden feel.

FRIDAY 19TH MAY MOULDS, PAPERCLAY & FINISHES

CARDS 9am—12pm

Cost: $40 supplies included Paperclay pieces made in moulds are

wonderful embellishments for cards. You’ll learn how to make and finish paperclay

pieces with paints, waxes, dusting powders and rust finishes.

PIPEWORK CARD

1pm—4pm Cost: $40 supplies included This dynamic card is a repeat from last term and has a real wow factor. Diecut & create

rust effects on drain pipes for this interesting card.

SATURDAY 20TH MAY

HEARTFELT DOGWOOD FLOWER CARDS

9am—12pm Cost: $40 supplies

included Dogwood are a very pretty flower. You’ll stamp, diecut and

colour with markers these beautiful flowers and turn them into a

lovely card with lots of dimension.

CARABELLE CARDS 1pm—4pm

Cost: $40 supplies included Carabelle are a French company who have a divine range of stamps with a huge array of styles. Amanda will teach you ideas with flair. Colouring with markers, paints & inks. Stenciling will also be used. Plus you will

play with one of Amanda’s favourite surfaces (acetate) with one of these cards.

SUNDAY 28TH MAY

WHITE WASH CANVAS 9am—3pm

Cost: $120 supplies included

Back due to popular demand!

Dimension, texture, layers, stencils & paints. With that Shabby Chic finish you’ll love this

canvas. Come along for a bit of Art Therapy!

FRIDAY 2ND JUNE PORTRAIT OF A LADY—

CARDS IN A BOX 9am—3pm

Cost: $95 supplies included

Wow—these papers are stunning, Graphic 45 is in classic form with this new range. Using one of their

5”x5” mixed-media boxes as a base, you’ll decorate and adorn the front. Then make six

lovely greeting cards with layering and loveliness to place inside the box, as a

wonderful gift for family or friends.

SATURDAY 3RD JUNE TYPOGRAPHY BOOK

9am—3pm Cost: $150 supplies included

Come and join in the fun of making this great book

using Graphic 45 Typography papers. When you open the

book the pages open both left and right with pockets & flips and some great metal

finishes.

SUNDAY 4TH JUNE STEAMPUNK CANVAS

9am—5pm Cost: $210 supplies included

Push your creativity with a bit of fun Art Therapy. You’ll enjoy creating this unique

canvas with cogs, clock parts, winged things & flowers. It’s industrial, mechanical meets

nature. You’ll learn lots of techniques on this canvas with pastes, paint & rusty effects. With plenty of dimension it will be a great

addition to your home. The canvas is 16” x 20”.

delicious elements for these edgy tags. Refer to New Arrivals section for descriptions of

SUNDAY 11TH JUNE

FLEA MARKET EPHEMERA CARDS 9am—12pm

Cost: $40 supplies included These cards have a gentle grunge look using

gorgeous papers, simple stamping & ephemera elements. Tearing, inking &

diecutting pieces.

WATERCOLOUR CARDS 1pm—3.30pm

Cost: $35 supplies included You’ll play with Brusho, Yupo paper, stencils

& resist stamping techniques. Great fun & fresh looks with these cards with a difference.
