General
The indicated heads and performance data apply to materialvariant G in combination with pumped fluids with a density ρ =1 kg/dm3 and a kinematic viscosity ν ≦ 20 mm2/s.For hydraulic acceptance tests of pumps made of different ma-terials the documented efficiencies must be reduced by 2 per-cent.
Impeller types
K impellers are trimmed to match the specified duty point. Pur-chase orders must always contain the QH data or impeller di-ameter. If the hydraulic selection program is used, the impellerdiameter is automatically computed based on the QH data andadded to the designation of the pump set.
S, F, D and E impellers can only be supplied with the documen-ted impeller diameters. In the purchase order, the impeller di-ameter must always be added to the designation of the pumpset.
Pump input power
The pump input power must be matched to the density of thefluid handled:P2req = ρfluid [kg/dm3] x P2docuThe operating point with the largest pump input power is deci-sive for the operating range of the motor. To compensate theunavoidable tolerances of the characteristic curves of system,pump and motor we recommend selecting a motor size whichprovides sufficient power reserves.

For installation types K and D (with cooling jacket) a power re-serve of 1.5 kW must always be added for the cooling circuit.
General information on operating submersible pumpsin waste water
NOTE! In the case of waste water, too low a flow velocity inthe discharge line will lead to clogging and increased wear. Aminimum flow velocity in the vertical riser of 2 m/s must be ob-served.
NOTE! In the case of waste water, too low a circumferentialspeed of the impeller will lead to clogging of the hydraulic sys-tem (frequency inverter operation). A minimum circumferen-tial speed (measured at the outside diameter of the impeller)of 15 m/s must be observed.
2) If larger reserves are stipulated by local regulations or are required to compensate for uncertain factors in system calcula-tions, these larger reserves must be provided.
