Put eggs in water and cover withwater so that there is about an inch
of water above the eggsBring water to a boil and let eggs sit

Step 2- remove shell fromone of the eggs. Place botheggs in a glass jar or bowl Hypothesis!
You will be adding food colouring to botheggs, what do you think will happen to:
The egg with the shell?
The egg without the shell?
Step 2- Add food colouringto both eggs. Let eggs sit
for 2 hoursThe egg without the shell is like the
skin of an amphibian. It absorbswhatever is in the water around it.
That means that any pollution in thewater will also be absorbed into itsskin. The egg with the shell is like
other animals, with scales or fur. Itprotects them from the
environment around them.

environments. Someamphibians like frogslive near ponds. Somelike salamanders liveunder large rocks andlogs. You are going tomake a small habitat
to attract toads to yourbackyard!
Cut your plastic bottle inhalf.
Use the bottom half of thebottle and flip it upside
down.Cut a little door in the bottleGlue your natural materialall over the outside of the
pot.Place it in a spot in your
backyard where it blends inwith the environment.
