PLACEMENTSYou’ll spend the first six months in

one of our 39 UK venues learning

how a typical commercial theatre

operates. Following this you will build

your working knowledge of a wide

range of centralised departments

to develop an understanding of the

bigger picture. You’ll expand your

experience of the theatre industry

and find out what makes ATG a unique

and exciting company to work for.

In the second year, you will have the

chance to specialise, enabling you

to identify a suitable career path

within ATG.

MENTORSHIPA senior mentor will guide you through

the Graduate Scheme and advise you on

your choices and learning experiences.

You’ll learn about their role and career

history, and they will offer support for your

next steps at the end of the two years.

TRAININGYour path through the Graduate Scheme

will be unique, but you will join other

Graduates and colleagues to complete

relevant training, to underpin your

workplace learning.

WHEN WOULD I START?Graduates join ATG annually in September,

and are engaged on a fixed term contract

for two years.

WHERE WOULD I WORK?ATG owns theatres all over the UK and its

head offices are in London and Woking.

The first year of the Graduate Scheme

would mostly take place in or near to

London; the location of the second year

will depend on your individual placements.

WILL I BE GUARANTEED A JOB AT THE END?A job will not be guaranteed, but your

mentor will help you to negotiate your

career progress, and it’s expected that

job vacancies will arise at ATG which

will interest you.

HOW MUCH WOULD I BE PAID?Graduates will be paid a competitive

starting salary, with a pay rise in the

second year depending on performance.

Benefits include annual leave, a pension,

staff ticket offers and relocation assistance

(where required).

WHAT KIND OF CAREER WILL IT LEAD TO?After working with ATG for two years you

will be well-placed to apply for a broad

range of management and administration

roles within the theatre industry. This

could include any career from venue

management to marketing to ticketing.

This Graduate Scheme is not designed to
