Introduction The TAFE Teacher Program Diary (TPD) replaces

the electronic Establishment Control (eEC) system based on Microsoft Excel Workbooks.

It enables all TAFE teachers to submit time tables for approval and into the Timetable Information System (TIS) and to the Lattice payroll system.

SI Implementation Plan Implementation of TPD to begin in Term 1, 2009 Implementation completed end of Term 2, 2009 New TPD System is still undergoing testing and

some issues are being identified and resolved It is planned that the eEC workbook will not be

supported beyond Term 2, 2009 It is expected that all Institutes will be using the

new solution fully from Term 3, 2009

User Support Institute HR – TPD Section is responsible for the first level

of support Technical and Systems issues will continue to be

supported by HR Corporate Support but escalated via Institute TPD Unit.

TPD team will liaise with the TPD programming team to resolve technical issues and report solutions back to super users and champions as appropriate

The Employee Self-Service (ESS) area of the DET Portal, enables you to access various HR related functions.

From the ESS area you can access the TPD site (via THR).

week. Enter variation here. Enquiry – Enquire by name, section, year, semester, status

etc. New Timetable – Create new timetables Semester Hours - Enquire hours worked by PT teachers

under your delegation.
