What Well-Written Strategies Look Like
Here’s a Great Strategy
Situation:
Our girls were starting to behave better, and we wanted an opportunity to recognize them for that change.
Step 1:We made cookies.
Step 2:We included notes in the cookies that thanked the students for their better behavior.
Can we have some guidance on how to write effective notes so that they’re well received?
Guidance on the easiest type of cookie to make or use for this project?
The guidance on making sure that each note was unique was really important to have.
Really would have appreciated hearing how the girls responded to the cookies
- Start each note with “We are fortunate to…”
- Highlight topics such as upbeat attitudes, leadership potential, willingness to speak up
A Less-Helpful Version of that Strategy
Any strategies you share or approve of must meet the following minimum criteria:
[Insert your criteria here.]
[A good philosophy: If you aren’t completely comfortable with the strategy being used with your own children or other children in your family, do not share or approve the strategy.]
