Since dental research has not yet provided the basis for preventive measures in controlling dental diseases, it is certain that treatment to conserve and maintain the functional efficiency of the oral mechanism will remain the objective of restorative dentistry for years to come. Such factors as diagnosis, treatment planning, operative skill and dental health education of the patient influence the value of this treatment. This presentation will deal primarily with providing adult dental health service by restorative procedures.
