Team Captains’ meetings will be held on the fourth Tues- day of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Welcome New Teams -- Team Marshall, Club Cure, Team Boehmtastic, Team Tiffanie, and Team 20/20 Mission Moment - ACS CAN Voices for Action video was viewed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3lJGlzU5qg Through the advocacy efforts of American Cancer Society - Cancer Action Network, Congress passed and the President signed the 2016 budget law in December which increased fund- ing for cancer research at the National Institute of Health by $2 billion and another $264 million at the National Cancer Institute. The team captains were challenged to sign-up a total of 40 CAN members by the February meeting to make our Relay a CAN Event. Team Marshall was already a CAN team with 10 CAN members. By the end of the meeting, RFL of Williams County had 40 CAN members and was the first CAN Event in the state of Ohio. Congratulations!! We get pizza at our Feb- ruary meeting!! Teams are encouraged to sign-up 10 or more CAN mem- bers to become CAN team and receive a garden banner to dis- play at you campsite. Mommy & Minnie Me Sweetheart Dance -- Saturday, Feb. 6 -- Montpelier -- Team Kamco is holding a Mommy &
Me Sweetheart Dance on Saturday, Feb. 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Montpelier Moose Family Center, 115 N. Airport Rd., Montpe-
lier. Enjoy an evening with your child(ren), suggested 4+ years old, both boys and girls, with snacks, activities and dancing to a DJ.
Presale tickets are $7 per individual and tickets at the door are $10 per individual. There will be 50/50 drawing, door prizes and pho-

Euchre -- Monday, Feb. 7 -- Bryan -- Team Foster and Yanfeng Cancer Warriors are co-hosting a Euchre Tournament to be
held on Monday, Feb. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Center Township Building, 04266 County Road 12, Bryan. Cost is $5 per player.

Valentine's Bake Sale -- Taking Orders until Feb. 9 -- Team Marshall is doing a Valentines Bake Sale. They are taking
orders now through Feb. 9th for delivery on Feb. 12th. Contact Mandi McClain 419-298-3613 . You can order single Cookies or
Cupcakes for 50 cents or even a dozen for $6.00 and you can choose a message to have put on it. (This is a fun thing to do for your
Sweethearts and your children or whomever you would choose) Plus it helps raise money for a good cause. They haven't forget
about your FUR BABIES either. They will be making Valentines Dog Treats for your Dogs. These treats will be available for $1.00
a bag. All Ingredients are natural ( Flour , Egg, Baking powder, applesauce, cinnamon, oats and honey)

Live Auction -- Kate Semer is coordinating the Live Auc-
tion. Each team can have up to 5 items sold during the
Live Auction at Relay. They should have a minimum

Silent Auction. Auction items should have a minimum
value of $10 and will be displayed overnight under the

Road to Recovery Race for adults and children -- Teams
will be asked in February to declare if they are going to
have entries in the race to be held on Saturday at Relay.
Remember this year we will be racing boats.
All Day Scrapbook Event -- Saturday, Feb 13 -- West Unity -- C&B Tigers team is holding an All Day Scrapbook Event
for Relay For Life on Saturday, Feb 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the West Unity United Methodist Church. Cost is $20 per person
