Participation with Other Professional Societies

• National Organization of Test, Research, and Training Reactors (TRTR) - representing nearly 50 research reactors from government, industry, and universities throughout the U.S. and worldwide.– At least one session at each national meeting is devoted to

research reactors and is sponsored or co-sponsored by IRD.

• Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) – promotes best approaches and procedures for implementing all aspects of nuclear materials management– Participation at Safeguards Topical Conf.

Page 11: American Nuclear Society Isotopes and Radiation Division

Society Leadership

• Exec. Comm. has > 50% participation at national meetings (required for quorum)

• Some participation in PDC efforts

• Full participation in NPC efforts

Page 12: American Nuclear Society Isotopes and Radiation Division

Non-Meeting Publications

• The IRD does not actively stimulate contributions to non-meeting publications, however, members do contribute papers to the technical journals.

• IRD Chair contributed to the special committee forthcoming position paper on isotope assurance

Page 13: American Nuclear Society Isotopes and Radiation Division

Professional Development

• IRD has not supported any professional development workshops or activities
