Safety “rules” help to protect you!

Safety Rule #1

Leave materials alone until the teacher explains how to use them!

Safety Rule #2 The teacher must be in the classroom: Never

work alone

Safety Rule #3 Do not enter storage areas without permission.

Safety Rule #4 No food, drink, or gum allowed in the

classroom!

Safety Rule #5 Read all directions BEFORE beginning a lab. If

you do not understand a direction STOP and ask your teacher before moving on.

heat, or glass

Know how to use lab equipment. If something breaks, STOP and tell the teacher!o Carry equipment with

anything in the sink without permission.
