*Question problem

*What will take the best pictures… a handheld camera on landscape

mode vs. a tripod camera on landscape

mode?

*hypothesis

*My hypothesis is that the best picture will be the tripod camera on

landscape mode.

*I think this because the research said a tripod camera is known to be

more stable.

Procedures

1. Take a picture using handheld mode on landscape setting.

2. Take a picture using tripod mode on

landscape setting.

3. Examine the 2 pictures and see which comes out

better.

*Observations #1

*The landscape mode had a 5

second wait till it took the picture.

*Observations #2

*The tripod started to wobble a little because of the terrain it was on.

*Observation #3*The handheld

camera couldn’t stop going to a

angle.

*Observation #4

*The landscape mode was wider

than the rest.

*Results, chartsResults

*The tripod mode with a landscape setting took the better

picture.

*It wobbles less then the handheld mode on a landscape

setting.Charts

*Abstract

People always wonder “which mode takes better pictures”. This experiment focuses on which takes a more stable picture, a handheld camera vs. a tripod camera. The pictures were tested in a outdoor setting and examined with picture software. My hypothesis was that the tripod camera on landscape setting would take the better picture. The experimental results supported my hypothesis by showing that the handheld mode was too un-stable and the more stable picture was on the tripod camera.

*recommendations

*During this project I found a related project I would like to study later on in the future.

* The recommendation I could give others is that this experiment was hard and tricky but it is very fun to

do. You have to have the right software for this experiment.
