LAKE GEORGE RALLY The 17th annual Betty & Don Whittle Memorial Buddy Rally was held on Thursday, May 30th thru Sunday, June 2nd. 6 Units were in attendance - Hosts Geoff & Sue Whittle, Herrings, Vettovallis, Kings, Schulitzs, Starks. Happy Hours were held each afternoon and a continental breakfast and a pancake breakfast were served. A delicious Pot Luck dinner was served on Saturday Night by the capable chefs of H.M. Thank you all for the delicious side dishes. Friday night we had a dinner at Georges
Restaurant. No campfire this year because it was so hot and humid, but we still shared stories and enjoyed the outdoors. This rally has always been at Lake George RV Park on route 149, they have always been welcoming, helpful, and look for us each year. This year they gave each unit a Lake George RV Cookbook which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Lake George RV Park and thanks for all the memories in your park. On Saturday it was good to see Bob Cornute attend the business meeting and visited after. It is always good to see some of our older members at
these events, they share their experiences and memories & are the foundation of our club. On Saturday afternoon Robert & Carol Abraham visited and shared happy hour and potluck with us. Robert & Carol our newest members were inducted and presented their badges - Congratulations & Welcome. It was a great weekend visiting with friends some new and some old.
