First step:

Research program: « scouting for all »

= Open 6 new local groups in major cities for unprivileged kids.

= their idea: to compose staffs with scout leaders with a lot of scout experience and young adults from neighborhood.

= Result? They all closed.

Why a Brussels Project?

4 observations:- Demographic boom (+ 150 000 people by

2020)- 72 local groups for 1 100 000- Local groups are full - Only Belgian public in the local groups

The Brussels project purposes:- Identify the « no scout’s land » in Brussels- Create a process to create new local

groups- Finding « ancien » scouts to be a coach

for this local group- Finding a « personne relais »
