We would like to take this time to thank you for taking an interest in our hickory furniture. And as you reminisce about the origin of hickory furniture, we hope you will be able to relax your mind and body, as it takes you back before the ages of automo-biles, computers and cell phones, to a time, not always easy but maybe less stressful.

Hickory wood is one of the hardest of all hardwoods, which makes it ideal for quality furniture. Hickory saplings are normally cut from October through March, while the sap in the wood is less at that time and there are fewer bug problems.

Our hickory is all either steamed or chemically treated to as-sure that there are no insects left in the wood, as all wood is accessible to bugs if not properly treated. To bend the sapling we heat and steam it to 160°-180° depending on the size of the hickory stick, to create a beautiful piece of art.

Each piece is handcrafted by skilled craftsmen and you can be assured that no two pieces are exactly alike. We appreciate the beauty of wood and take great care to pass it on to our cus-tomers so that when you buy our rustic hickory furniture, you will have a piece of heirloom furniture that can be handed down from generation to generation. Do not expect the pieces to all match, because of the variance in the sizes and bends of the hickory sticks.

We finish our hickory furniture with some of the best stains and finishes on the market so that when you purchase our prod-uct you will enjoy a lifetime of quality furniture and tomorrow’s antique.

You can also be assured of a world-friendly product as when hickory saplings are cut, they will re-grow and be ready to harvest again in 3-5 years. So, we thank you again for buying an Amer-ican-made product and we hope you will enjoy it for a lifetime.
