DESCRIPTION

Climate Change Youth Conversations (ages 19-29) Please join Climate Change Secretariat staff for an evening chat about climate change in Yukon. We would be happy to let you know what the Secretariat has been up to lately and look forward to learning about activities, issues and priorities important to you. Then work with us on an activity about citizen GHG emissions reductions. The “Carbon Crackdown” exercise will involve team work and creative problem solving and – we promise! -- will be both fun and informative. The “Carbon Crackdown” results will help us all inform and encourage Yukoners to take action on climate change. When: Thursday July 17th from 6-9pm Where: Whitehorse Public Library meeting room Please contact Heather Ashthorn to register: (867) 667-5361 or Heather.Ashthorn@gov.yk.ca Limited to 20 participants. For more information about the Yukon government and climate change visit www.gov.yk.ca/climatechange.
