• AwardeeagreestoworkcloselywiththeInstituteAdministrator(oranotherapprovedCollegeAdministrator,asarranged)onprocessinggrant-fundedexpendituresandonalladministrativeprocedures,andtoabidebyallrelevantUniversitypolicies.Awardeeagreestopre-arrangegrant-basedexpenditureswiththedesignatedAdministratorpriortoincurringanyexpense,includingbutnotlimitedtoobtainingmaterials,equipment,services,paidstaff,honoraria,travel,hospitality,andparticipantincentives.

• AwardeewillcheckwiththeInstituteDirectorandAdministratoronanyproposedmodificationstotheprojectbudget.

• Anyreports,journalarticlesorpressarticleswillcitetheInstituteandtheCollegeofEthnicStudiesasfinancialandin-kindsupporters.

• AwardeewillworkwiththeInstituteDirector/CUECommitteetoagreeonanynewrecommendationsthatmayariseduringtheprojectperiod.

• SubmissionandacceptanceofasatisfactoryfinalreporttotheInstituteandCUECommittee,completionofallaccountingtransactions,andsharingofallwrittenandgraphicmaterialusefulforfuturepublicitywillconstituteformalclosureofthefundedproject.

Restrictions:

• Fundingmaynotbeusedforcoursebuy-outsorsupplementaryfacultysalary.

• AwardeewillnotenterintofinancialagreementsorcontractswithanythirdpartywithoutpriorapprovalfromtheUniversity,viatheInstituteAdministrator,toensureUniversitypoliciesandproceduresareadheredto.
